Thank God for the Canton Spirituals. The first song I remember from this wonderful group was "Ride This Train" back in the 80s. Fast forward to 1988, I got a chance to see them in Lake City, SC. I've been a fan ever since. If there's a Mt. Rushmore of quartet in my generation, the Cantons are there.

What’s wrong with the congregation/crowd? Wow, such low energy, feels awkward to my spirit…
What it is is that people are turning away from quartet music quartet music is outdated to a lot of the young people but me I'm old school I love the quartet but the young people can't get with it they call it slavery singing but they don't know what that music is the thing that got us over the soul stirrers Mighty Clouds of Joy Gospel Legends Shawn Jones and others
@@levident7135 well the young people where I’m from are all lovers of gospel quartet, so I’m thankful that gospel quartet still has it’s place in the ministry. The only issue is when some (not all) of these singers haven’t been born again and they’re not genuinely respecting God’s order when it comes to living the life they sing. Some/not all of their voices are empty.. at least groups like the Mighty Clouds had a few members filled with the Holy Ghost and their songs could reach beyond the age groups and all over the nation. They were anointed!
