    Gracias por tus tutoriales. Me han servido de mucha ayuda, sobre todo si no tienes una escuela cerca.

    I love your tutorials. I am a derby player training for the New York skate marathon and find them so so helpful in the transition from quads and fitness inlines over to speed skates! Thanks for sharing. :)

    Pascal thanks for the great news but what can I do when I am in a good position like that and feel back pain? Second thing : can you please share us with your ideas for how to use the Skating track to be able to go faster than using the road? Thanks

    Thanks a lot for this tutorial...Nevertheless, how don't you feel any pain while crouching like this? As soon as i do it for a few seconds, i already feel a lower back pain and tiring hamstrings... Any tips about it?

    • @ThePascalbriand
      @ThePascalbriand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      sighange hi .... lower back pain to keep this position can come from too tight hamstrings and or a lack of endurance/strength in the abs... of ans are not strong enought then your lower back muscle try to do the job ... but they are not good in this :-)

  • @mountveggie
    @mountveggie 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Thanks for the tips! I have one question though - when I try this, my back starts to hurt after only a few kilometres.
    Is it a sign that I’m using wrong technique? Or is it just something my back need to get used to?
    Thanks again!

    • @ThePascalbriand
      @ThePascalbriand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mountveggie hi, it can be few different reason... if pain is muscular. Then it can be a lack of abs specially may be you don’t use enought your transverse muscle ...
      so I first suggest to do more abs cause otherwise back muscle hold everything instead of the abs....
      It can also be very tight Armstring muscle group

    • @mountveggie
      @mountveggie 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      pascal briand Thanks! That does make sense, considering I have fat abs and tight hamstrings, guess I’ve got to work on those, haha.

    Hi, You could make a video explaining how the body should be balanced to gain speed? I haven't found much information about it.

    Merci pour ce tutoriel. Je me suis toujours demandé comment vérifier ma propre position qui, effectivement, est plus haute que mes sensations me laissent croire :-/

    Hi, do those Rollerblade 3WD frames work well for marathons?

    • @ThePascalbriand
      @ThePascalbriand  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not bad at all. Little soft in my opinion because of soft aluminum so I get less push compare to a xxx powerslide for exemple but all in all it’s a good frame... quite comfy on edge to edge

    • @danflanagan9536
      @danflanagan9536 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ThePascalbriand What do you think of the length? Aren't they a little shorter than the xxx powerslide frames?

    • @ThePascalbriand
      @ThePascalbriand  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Dan Flanagan I prefer longer frame as it’s more stable in that set up... but it depend of your max speed. Around 35km/h average a 13.0 is better I think.... but still this rb is also a good frame.

    Excellent, merci pour ces précieux conseils que je metterai en pratique
    Bien que ton anglais soit tres bon, cause nous donc en francais bon sang !,
    Assumons notre langue, les non francophones peuvent aussi lire les sous titrages, et je suis bien loin d'être un furieux nationaliste (!) .
    Pour une fois que l'on a la chance d'avoir une vidéo pedagogique d'un (ex) champion francais c'est quand meme dommage non ?

    • @ThePascalbriand
      @ThePascalbriand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Alain, toutes les videos sont aussi sous titrés en français...je fais les vidéos aussi pour travailler mon anglais^^d'où ce choix tactiques pas avantageux pour la qualité général...mais j'ai préféré me lancer et passer un cap avec le temps^^

    Here again:
    You need keywords of skating in your titles. for example "speedskating body posture or postion"
    Please do the corrections in all your videos.
    The work you put already into these videos should pay off.
