This is a place that Tim and I have been dreaming about since before coming to Indonesia - Bromo National Park. Mt. Bromo is a highly active volcano within a huge super volcano complex, so the views there are out of this world. But in order to get there, we have to ride our motorcycle through an area inside of the volcanic crater called the Sea of Sand.
If you’ve been watching, then you know that our motorcycle, which we have named Dorco, isn’t the best. It keeps losing parts and breaking down and not starting and having all sorts of problems.
And so our confidence that we can get across the Sea of Sand is… well, we really should have expected the worse.
