During the fight he has with the A and B class heroes as well as his fight with Genos, Bang and Bomb, he only kick-starts his evolution because of how much he had to *really* push himself under those circumstances. A lot of Anime-only people were confused with this ending on season 2, but trust me, this was the best option. This arc is really long, and if they had added just one more episode, it would’ve been a major cliffhanger. This season was an introduction to Garou, the Monster-Association and to show how this OPM world works. Next season will be focused on the S-Class heroes vs the Monster-Cadres.
To be honest, I disagree. I think psykorochi is a much better final villain for the HA arc, and I feel like Garous arc drags on WAYYYYY too long and really has no place in the HA arc. I'd have preferred it if AG had just happened here.

The difference is that the Manga is adding a lot of new mini-arcs and new characters, but the climax and the ending need to be the same. Spoiler: Psykos+Orochi isn’t even over yet, what do you mean? And Monster-Garou would be an amazing final boss for a future season 4 since we still haven’t seen the heroes fight the cadres on the surface and Saitama fighting Garou like in the Web-Comic. My point is that THIS was the best moment to end season 2, rather than adding more episodes that will end in major cliffhangers.

I do agree that Garou's story is dragging in the manga, but the manga is kind of just dragging as a whole so I wouldn't put too much blame on Garou's arc
I don’t think the show will ever explain this so its not technically a spoiler, but in the Manga you get stronger whenever you reach a near-death state and survive through your own Determination. Becoming a monster basically happens once your determination has run out and all you have left is purely evil intentions. Hope this helps!

Every single day he reached a near-death state and expanded his limits, with limitless Determination. Until one day his hair fell out and he was the most OP Man to exist.

It's seems like Saitama power have no limit (duh). He can beat himself with one punch, and no one, even himself could beat him, that's all. I started reading the manga. I hope they wait a while. Make a deal with a good studio. Season 2 was supposed to be done by Madhouse like Season 1, but they were booked for a few years (about now-ish).

Garou is a guy who likes standing up for the little guys, as a kid he misunderstood the monsters for the underdogs and the heroes as the popular snarky types which is why he began his monster tirade. So essentially Garou wanted to become a hero who sticks up for the weak, but he mistook the two roles and thus started trying to become a monster who stands up for the weak. What makes the situation worse is the fact that a large part of the hero association is corrupt and greedy, they only care about money, rankings, and image. And to Garou, seeing this only reaffirmed his convictions.
Nah ONE said that mumen rider and saitama are the same age and went to the same school, but Garou is younger (19, same age as genos). Good theory though
If you haven't seen it yet you should have a look at the Seven Deadly Sins, the Eng Dub is decent and story is amazing. You definitely wouldn't regret. Some guys may say watching anything beyond season 2 (there is 4 in total) isn't worth it but even though animation is a bit worse than in first two seasons, the story is making up for it. If you ever have time give it a try ^^

I loved this season. Everyone complaining basically want a boring anime with no story where Saitama punches the villian of the week and wins.. it would be stupid and boring after awhile. They really needed the world building and focus on different characters with Saitama just being there to save the day. Garou is the best and I loved this season
