It's more about who you know, not necessarily what you know. Make friends in tech by going to free local meetups, hackathons, conferences, and events in your area. It's uncomfortable, but is so rewarding having a network that can help you out in your journey. Having friends in tech will help you massively in getting a job.
Everything is saturated. There’s no such thing as untapped market. It’s up to you to be better than your competitors. Or not, just wait a few more years and try again, but it will be even harder than it is now :)
