considering that Yuzu lives, the Harvestman is the OG daddy long-leg. and despite the rumors. all daddy-long legs have no actual lethal level of venom. the most venamous spider known to man is the Australian Black Widow or Sydney funnel-web spider. Though the most dangerous and agressive is the Brazilian wandering spiders. because of this, these 2 have swapped spots many times. usually the family that the black widow is, usually fuck off away from danger and arnt too agressive. Wandering spiders will hunt.
other 'daddy' spiders other than the Harvestmen are; The Cellar spider, the long body cellar spider, and pale daddy-long-leg.
I'm so glad someone knows. The daddy long legs the chat was talking about is the mosquito hawk. I don't know why people refer to that flying abomination as "daddy long legs" but they do and it hurts me. I actually felt triggered enough to climb out of bed to comment about it but seems you already beat me to it, I tip my hat off to you.
@@berrymaple even so, the mosquito hawk is a very very friendly insect. it has never harmed and can never harm humans. their pray is... mosquitos.
@@kellerweskier7214 That's also a myth! mosquito hawks do not feed on mosquitos at all. They mostly eat aphids and also act as detritivores eating decaying and dead matter though its mostly decaying grass. They don't have mouths large enough to eat anything bigger and in some species the males don't have mouths at all. They're also called crane flies.
