  • I started this bicycle tour in Bangkok, Thailand in December of 2022. This video covers my route thru northern Laos starting 19-January 2023 (Southern Laos was covered in my previous video). In this video I visit the Plain of Jars Site#3 and then continue north thru the mountains to the old French colonial city of Luang Prabang to witness the morning alms and do some exploring. After that I continue northward to the Vietnam border crossing at Tay Trang. 🚴🏻‍♀️🤓💕🇱🇦

    Just found your channel!
    We're looking to get to Laos one day and have the Plain of Jars on our list, so it's great to get a bit of background info etc. We don't know much about Laos in general, so your videos are very valuable.
    Great camerawork too! Some lovely intimate candid shots.
    Great work!

      @@VeloObscura its east here too. Accomodations and food are cheap. Depending on your budget you may be able to leave your tent and stove at home.

    Quite the adventure! How long did it take to go through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia? Excellent quality to these videos

      It was done over the course of 3 months.. I would have spent another 2 weeks in Vietnam but unfortunately I had visa limitation due to my misunderstanding on how the system works.. aside from that it was a perfect amount of time!

    been rewatching your trips thru thailand (where i live) and laos and i have to say...your camera work really catches the feel of the place. it's really quite impressive for a bikepacking channel. if i may ask...did you come across this talent naturally? or did you learn it in school?
    much enjoyed...keep it up.

      @bertski60 Thanks for the feedback.. I am just a hobbyist to be honest but have been into photography for about 22 years now.. Having good lenses makes a big difference and I try to keep a high standard which i continue to improve.. I'm currently in Bangkok finishing 3 new videos from South America this week.. I hope you enjoy them too! 🚴‍♂

    Do people ever ask why you are filming them, or give you grief for filming them?

    • @JeremyEll
      @JeremyEll  ปีที่แล้ว

      No I just try to keep my distance.. usually they are so busy working and not interested when I'm in the markets... in the early morning and evening they don't seem to notice my camera in the darkness.
