Money rich people have gotten away with muder or less charges. assuming the stake isn corrupted and agree with deal , I hope she gets life sentence. But they could give her deal 15 to 25 years if her lawyer works out deal. But I pray that doesnt happen

It was a calm arrest so that's why they are standing around. No need to escalate a situation when there is no need. I am sure the cops appreciated this compared to other stressful arrest they have to face.

They know her parents are wealthy enough to sue their butts if they don’t treat her with kid gloves. It will be interesting to see how she is treated in Florida. These cops don’t have a dog in this fight. They are just holding her until the courts decide on extradition.

What these types of parents put their kids through is disgusting. Then they say they love their kids. No. They just love themselves. It was a one way street with a curb and shrubs. He didn’t really have a choice. I’m not at all saying he wasn’t a good man, it definitely seemed like he was. But they chose that spot because he’d really have no way around it.
@@BayRaeDayI wondered about that. From the angle I saw it looked like he could go around it if he went in the grass,but it's impossible to tell from a video. Either way, he wouldn't have even thought that getting out to move a tire would be the last thing he ever did. It's just devastating.

I agree we all would like rough treatment but, it would go against boundaries also im sure the police involved think the same when they see the carnage, its best to keep calm as possible and befriend them somewhat, their basic rights must be adhered too and protocols must be followed. It takes just a couple of small mistakes to stuff the lot legally.
Her kids were right there witnessing the whole thing, and they recently lost thier father, I'm sure the cops are trying to save them from what they can like seeing their mom being dragged away.

Luckily, the courts don't take kindly to one parent murdering the other and from what I've seen, and I'm really really old, it's usually the family of the murdered parent that ends up with the kids. Shanna's mom didn't do such a good job with her, maybe she shouldn't raise shanna's kids?
That's not fair - I'm just being ugly to be ugly and I apologize. This is what happens when you hand your kids everything on a silver platter and don't hold them accountable for anything- ever- nothing- and just keep digging them out of the holes they find themselves in. Shelly should have stepped forward when she saw Shanna going from a good married Mormon wife to a tattooed drug user who was getting her basement pierced. They all knew she was having an affair with the trainer before she married him- maybe they should have stepped in then? It's a little late now.
*** For the record, former tattoo/piercing shop owner here... I have absolutely NO issue with ink or piercings obviously. All I'm saying is that when a good little Mormon wife suddenly flips as hard and fast as she did, someone should have been paying attention and stepping in.

Youre judging her parents based off of this one incident, when in fact all walks of people, have a breaking point. I am not excusing what she did. but we all snap at one point, we dont all kill. But sometimes a person is so far gone in anger and depression that when they snap they black out, they just see that rage and depression. Id safely put money on it that this isnt something her parents could have prevented even with extensive guidance and coddling through adulthood. Shes on a boat load of medication as well. We cannot ignore that 90% of medicine in this world, especially for pain, anxiety or depression...... Alters your brain and how you mentally process things, and react to things. I have personal experience dealing with someone who was on drugs, and snapped and tried to choke my mother. The cause was the mental illness, on top of prescription drugs and illegal drugs. He just needed help.The point im getting at though is that shanna's parents couldnt have predicted their kid would end up doing this. Stop blaming parents. and start blaming the accused actions instead. She was a grown woman. She makes her own choices. And drugs, and meds can make you make the wrong ones most of the time. and not for nothing, no one wants to think their kid could kill someone... So.. Give her parents a rest.
Depending on who the better fit is, is where the children will be placed. They do not choose based on victims families.
The officer asks if the cuffs are putting a strain on her shoulders and lets hurry to the jail so i can get you out of the heat...who cares!? She had her childrens Father killed! She took him away from them. He will never be able to walk his Daughters down the aisle and never teach his Son to be a man.. let her be hot and let her poor shoulders hurt. Stop coddling criminals!
I think it is smart, that the cops handling her with dignity. She might not deserve it, but if the cops would mishandeling her, her defense would argue with that in court. The cops don't give her any grounds for that. And since her parents are very rich, she will probably have a good lawyer who knows the tricks.

Just like she was reminding the widow a week after Jared's murder to remember to return the library books for the twins. Miranda isn't required for an arrest, if she isn't being questioned. Movies and TV always make it seem like it has to be done immediately upon arrest.
I could never hurt anyone..ever, but to know that I'm going to have to console my inconsolable children while they grieve for their daddy would be enough for me to never go through with this. Most mothers do love their children more than they hate their ex, but not this one.

Adelson. Wendi's husband Dan was shot and killed when he pulled in to his driveway shortly after he and Wendi separated. They had 2 boys and had been going through a custody battle. They were from Florida too. 2 people have already been convicted and Wendi's brother was arrested last year for being involved. Wendi has the children and claims she knew nothing about the hit. Most people don't believe her. Donna is Wendi's mother and I think she knew too. The whole family turned on Dan (who was a professor, a great dad and an upstanding guy in general) as soon as she left him. It's a very sad case.

I don't get it. I've been through a rough breakup before. During that time, every move I made, every word I spoke, every interaction with the ex, I had the preservation of the kids and my ability to maintain those relationships in the forefront of my mind. How could someone voluntarily risk losing that?

There are people who don’t deserve to have children. Although they may feel they do, she is the perfect example. I pray her children are raised by those that would never cause them harm and go on to live the happy life they so deserve. To the father, may he RIP.

These children are grieving the death of their beloved father, (which the mother ordered) & now while the police are there to arrest this woman, she's literally directing her children how to care for her so she can go to jail. Did she not stop & think, 'Who's going to take care of my children when I'm gone?!". Such a selfish person. These sweet babies will need therapy for life! smh
