If a song could describe my exact thoughts..this would be it. In my despair and anger, I cursed at God today, felt shame, and later heard this song for the first time. Maybe it’s a sign from God telling me not to give up hope and on my faith. Thank you for this beautiful song.
For anyone who feels like a failure....I probably have you beat this week. I have a ministry channel and this week someone confronted me and was all angry and because I felt afraid I didn't answer them the way I should have. I felt cornered....because I WAS cornered and didn't feel I could just say the simple,honest,truth. When people rapid fire me and get aggressive with their words I shut down because I have anxiety pretty bad. The person made a mountain out of a mole hill but made me feel like a sinner who could not ever be redeemed over literally nothing. Literally. It was heartbreaking. But...because I try to set an example I felt like a failure. I'm just an imperfect human trying to give my heart and my days to the Lord just like all of you out there. Anyways, you're not a failure. Be encouraged today!
Look, you are not a failure. You are called to spread the gospel. As long as you study and make sure you're not misrepresenting his word you are not going to have fans. You're not supposed to rub people the right way. I have anxiety too. I went home crying because my coworkers believe that you're saved just because you believe and made fun of me for trying not to have sex before marriage. They mocked me. All of these nice people or so I thought sat around a table and told me I should just go ahead and have sex and ask for forgiveness after marriage. I told them I was going to follow God in the way which I thought was right and that when my fiancé and I got too far that I would call him a whoremongeral and tell him if he died on the way to work he would go to hell. I applied it to my life. i was not attempting to point fingers at them, but thats exactly how they took it. One ladies dad disowned her when she lived with men before marriage but consoled her sister, who had kids out of wedlock and was still bouncing baby dads. The other lady thinks she knows everything shes in her late 50s and said her family were all strict church goers and people like hs who already believe in Jesus shouldnt be the ones we preach to it should be the druggies and homeless in the streets. I told her everyone deserves the gospel, but it should never be changed. I said that we are forewarned in the bible that false prophets will walk amongst us, and we have to make sure our pastor is biblically accurate. They dug at me and made fun of me. I was not prepared for it. And a wise woman from my church told me that I did what I was supposed to do. I defended following God. His commandments never lose value they never ever change. They are to be followed, or we will not enter the kingdom of heaven. I plead in Jesus name that your eyes remain open and that if you are to be a steward to his people that he guides you and provides you with the knowledge as to what is needed to say I ask in Jesus name that anxiety flee from you. My church lady advised me that when Jesus sent the diciples out he told them if they were not welcomed to leave the town and shake the dust off of their feet. As should you. Your on a podcast and that puts you at the mercy of people who will never see eye to eye because they have their own timelines in which God is moving in their life. If they refuse to see reason ignore it. Or take a break but anyone hungering for the word of God is going to acknowledge and give you support. So in the midst of this spiritual warfare pray to Jesus and God Almighty and ask for guidance. Ask if you are on the right track working for his purpose. Be patient. Be silent. Be studious and continue to read the word. I listen to Michael Lake on biblical life tv on and application called rumble. He goes back to the original hebrew and greek that the bible was translated from and simple words we misunderstood and make confusing is expressed and explained in a very detailed manner. He also studied demonology so he knows that names of the demons that have changed names celebrities and cults are worshipping that are the same today. Give him a chance. I've found him biblically accurate. Always maintain focus on your actual bible. Then you will not stray. Continue to stay strong. Michael (or micheal) lake has 3 different things on his channel. He has a podcast he does with his wife mary loy He has a youtube channel but youtube demonetized everything he put out so he currently updates on rumble. The one with his wife is called KIB kingdom intelligence broadcast.Off topic but for instance. There are specific holidays we follow that are pagan origin and they fast and follow biblical feasts I've learned way more and gained encouragement. Then there's his actual sermons. Then there's the I feel he and other pastors get together on called the kingdom war room and he feels his whole purpose is to prepare the remnant. And he says we are not called to be a little light we are called to be ablaze with the fire of God in this generation. Hes a good man. Much love and God bless. Theres always a broader horizon.
I also want to add that King james bible had things removed from the bible that King james didn't want incriminating him or provoking and uprising. The geneva bible 1599 is actually the first recorded english translation that i know of. At that time martin luther, the man who helped compose kjv, left the Catholic church because they had become focused on wealth and prosperity. So when all this happened, they removed everything not considered authoritative and not accurate because it wasn't a complete finished book, or it was written in different languages that weren't hebrew or greek. They did find some of these in the dead sea scrolls which makes me believe I should know of them and about them. but it's called the apocrypha. Its the extra 57 I think books they took out and I recently bought one of them off amazon and Michael Lake goes into detail about the nephelim and the fall of lucifer in the apocrypha there's the book of enoch where it explains when lucifer fell from heaven what he did. It's not Jesus or God giving direction or guidance, so they removed that and changed a bunch of passages. I want the bible as a whole, so I did buy the apocrypha, but I do have different translations. I'm going back and forth between. So I'm not reading the apocrypha until I finish the bible first, but I do have one now and am aware of the Book of enoch.
I have different translations of the holy bible not the apocrypha just wanted to clarify. Like the English standard version the family heritage bible the king james version the new international version the passion translation and I will be buying the geneva 1599 bible soon
