Our Stay True Germany showcase with Ballantine's sought to highlight the creative intersection between electronic and classical music. A snug fit for the bill was always going to be Barcelona-based Francesco Tristano, a rare-breed composer who finds himself receiving as much praise from both techno purists as those devoutly supportive of the classical tradition. Here's proof of his powers: an hour of electronic experimentalism across a whole range of hardware and live instrumentation. There's even an impromptu collaboration with Brandt Brauer Frick to finish -- dig in.

Two very frustrated people and comments yet again who take things too seriously. must be a hard life being a cranky ass wipe. I was curious and I liked his music. you do know that there are actually a few famous musicians who can't play their instruments. I really wasn't being sarcastic yes I know it's live but when listening I wondered as if it was true what I thought he would still be awesome. .. I was took up wrong. assumptions. ok. I come in peace but if someone mean to me I can be back too. Music is great. Mixmag and Lab Dj are my Fav play lists ... and some of these Djs are not near as famous as some of them who play those radio tunes and get overly paid for their live performance. nothing else needed. just some good music to keep adding !

I dont see the art, why he got famous....
Who knows? Part of it he’s correctly manipulating his own publicity, he knows how to play the media way better than the piano. Also he’s young and good-lloking and in today's wall-to-wall superficiality this is enough to hypnotize people. Most people are too afraid to say what they are really thinking and the rest are cattle.
