It's funny as a depiction.... but it comes from Dante's Allegheri's Inferno, so it's more a christian version of Charon than a greek version XD
In the greek myths, the only one who beats anyone with the pole is Herakles, and it's Charon at the end of the stick! And he's punished afterwards because he let Herakles pass without paying XD

16:00 I remember thinking this when I first played this game myself. Honestly, the bait and switch of Persephone being the antagonist disappointed me a lot with this game. Morpheus had been teased and built up the whole game and then it all just ended up being a giant anticlimax. Morpheus should have been the game's antagonist, and as you said, they could have done a lot with Morpheus taunting Kratos with his nightmares or tricking Kratos into thinking he could rid him of them, before trying to slay him. A lot of wasted opportunity there, sadly.

Yeah, Nyx would make a lot more sense. Especially since, according to God if War: Ascension, Helios banishes Nyx to announce the day every day.
Chains of Olympus has a really shoddy plot, especially since no reason is given for why Hades, who canonically defeated Atlas, is asleep and thus couldn't stop his own wife...or why he even bothers to help Kratos in the first game.

@15:30 Even though it's probably a case of retroactively changing the canon, I recall reading somewhere that after Kratos killed Thanatos in God of War Ascension, which is a prequel to this game, it's implied that Kratos himself became the God of Death, even though he didn't really know it, and it's why Kratos could pull off killing Persephone even though as far as he knew, he was just a mortal/demigod servant of Olympus.
It could just as well be that he only needed Pandora's Box to kill Ares because either: 1. Athena was just that desperate to get someone to stop/kill Ares when she couldn't do it herself because of Zeus forbidding the Olympians kinslaying each other, but she didn't want Kratos to know he was already a god, so she sent him on a quest that would "help" him obtain the power of a god, or 2. Ares in the GoW is legitimately much more powerful than he was in the myths and Kratos did actually need the boost anyway to match him.

15:20 There's never really been a real answer as to why Kratos is capable of killing Persephone. But there has been several theories.
Some say that Persephone was a Lesser God, someone who has a status of being a God, but are not as powerful as other gods and can still be killed. Though it's not an easy thing to do.
Some said that Kratos always had the power to kill a God, it's just that he wasn't strong enough to take on a God as powerful as Ares. After all, Kratos did kill the Furies in Ascension, which is another prequel game in the God of War franchise, of which all three of them were classified as Goddesses as well.
I believe I once heard that Goddesses are generally weaker than Gods, though I personally don't buy that theory.
There's also the possibility that her immortality was empowered by prayers from the pure souls in her garden. But since Kratos killed almost all of them, it possible that their prayers weren't enough to keep Persephone alive.
My personal theory is that the reason why Kratos was able to kill Persephone was because she wanted to die. After all, Persephone was willing to see the planet collapse and crush on top of the Underworld in order to end her misery. She was willing to killing billions upon billions of living people, as well as the souls resting in the underworld just so she could end her suffering. It's possible that, while she was willing to go through extreme lengths to end her misery, she found an alternative by letting Kratos kill her. This might also explain on how easy her final boss was in Chains of Olympus. Plus, considering on how Kratos managed to bind Atlas' arms before he could finish what he was tasked, maybe she realized on how powerful Kratos was and, eventually, let Kratos kill her. In other words Persephone wasn't going all out, because she wanted Kratos to kill her. And I know that there's gonna be someone somewhere that's gonna say that if she died, her soul would be trapped in the Underworld, meaning that she would be trapped in a fate worst than death, and in God of War III, we clearly see her corpse in a glass coffin. Those are true, however there is a couple of arguments that can counter those accusations. The first one being Persephone's body exploding after she was killed. This also happened with Ares after he was killed in the original God of War, and yet his body can be seen at the beginning of God of War III. It's possible that those are funeral effigies to honor fallen gods, or the gods can create the bodies of the dead gods, but not their souls. Which does lead me to the second point, Gods don't go anywhere when they die. In the movie Wrath of the Titans, (and yes I know that that movie has nothing to do with the God of War games but still,) according to Hades, when a God dies their souls are not sent to the afterlife, instead they're sent to oblivion, a state of non-existence. If that's true, then that means Persephone got what she wanted. Someone to end her miserable existence and brought her into a state of oblivion.

God of War chains of Olympus was the very first God of War game I've ever played and I've imagined you making an inaccuracy video maybe some dreams to come true

I always thought the whole pandora's box thing was a sort goose chase Athena sent Kratos on, but since he was Zeus's son he could still kill gods

He survives because he was a demigod the whole time. Eventually we find out this in god of war 3 but was also said in ascension. With that in mind, those feats where you're wondering how he killed Charon or able to gaze at persephone in her true form, he's a demigod that is tough as metaphorical hades

I didn't even know this game existed. Thank you for the laughs ♥ can't wait for the next GoW's videos. I'm as excited to hear about your pov of GoW3 as of GoW2018 and Ragnarok. Those games are just too good. Keep it up♥

There are like seven or eight God of War games made before the 2017 reboot. It’s a common misconception though.

5:34 Banshees are real they are human women; I have saw women mourn/wail, to a degree such bone chilling paralyzing shrieking [just like Banshees] can be heard 5 blocks away, if not 10.
