The ogre using the barrel as a chair was glorious.
*Lemme just drop off this nuclear bomb right over here*
“Thanks for the chair mate, gotta get a good seat for this performance!”
I literally said out loud "oh u idiot 💀 " at that part
@@hegatinekul8196same
@@hegatinekul8196Don’t be mean to him >:(
The more i see the barbarian, the more i've grown to fear the man primarily out of wondering of what won't he stuff into his pockets.
"pockets"
@@ThePallasAthene “underwear of holding”? 😂
@@elenalizabeth Fruit of the Loot
Yes, fear the dark urges non-pocket-pockets
Pretty sure our resident sociopath has literally every corpse we've existed near, including the one Us spawns from.
Who ever is playing the Barbarian, spot on, you carry everything,
You mean who ever
@@whatwhat98 You mean whomevern'st
Literally
Fixed it! what I get for typing without coffee. thank you^^@@whatwhat98
nah, I'm above that immersion breaking shit
Mage hand babysitting the dark urge broke me 😂
That was great! I love the idea of the mage hand being its own character.
@@aaronbates4848 Yess! I wish it would be like mage's familiar and that it would last until long rest or maybe permanent. Hell, I wish we could name them
Ir was a blast !
@@vicalonso6597 Iirc the Rogue's magehand is permanent, just not the wizard's
The fact that the mage had to stop Dwarf Durge from committing cannibalism had me rofl
If you play an half-orc it says somewhere that it "Reminds you of your mothers cooking" or something (dont know if you need to be a Durge for that, i was though.)
Would that be the mage or the bard with the magic hand? Or can they both do that?
@@mermidion7552 I played a human durge, and I think I got that.
@@WereWade both can learn Mage Hand, iirc. But the bard was busy distracting the goblin camp with Volo, so I’m guessing it was the Mage’s spell.
It's not cannibalism if it's just some dwarf knuckles. 😏
Your artistry has not gone unnoticed. The booty cracks are immaculate!
Booty prints... Or huevos imprints... 😮
You could say Volo's singing was "the bomb". I'll see myself out now.
An explosive performance!
I'd say it bombed.
P.S. I'm sorry.
P.P.S. Not really.
No no. Please stay.
What an explosive performance
Brought the camp down!
The Goblin Camp Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Barrel
For me it was high ground. On the far side where there's only one ladder up? Oh yah, much raining of projectiles happened
"Gee, I wish we had one of them doomsday machines"
- Dror Ragzlin -
Few will understand your witful comment. But those that do will laugh just as much as I did. Thank you!
Comedy classic, they just don't do those anymore...
The best high ground moment for me was assassinating Ragzlin from the rafters.
I knew there was gonna be an episode regarding this when the Barbarian went full-on loot goblin mode on the previous episodes lol
Also that Rogue tip-toeing at objects trying not to accidentally steal while on sight lol
I accidentally stole things SO MANY times that I had to stop using the controller and switch back to keyboard and mouse whenever I wanted to talk to people in shops. 😆
The gods were testing their Dark Urges 😆
I keep accidentally stealing all my companions stuff whenever I try talking to them lol.
I felt bad when I accidentally nabbed Clyde.
Sometimes I can smash the Y (triangle on ps?) fast enough to cancel the action.
And horde like a dragon until you have to sell junk to make room to horde more...
The "Ragadishu!" at the start got me to stay a while and listen. 👌🏾
Rakanishu*
@@TheDSasterX perhaps, but not according to my headcanon. 😅
oh, so you've never opened up the Cairn Stones.@@WildfireS1
@@WildfireS1 aiight you do you!
@@weplaywax 😅 others have told me before but I keep forgetting. 🤷🏾♂️
Your party: *arranges stacks of smokepowder and firewine barrels all over the place*
Goblins: Eh, nothing sus.
That's why the bard was distracting them
@@Valkyrie_3d Putting the barrels all around them is not a hostile act. The bard's purpose is to group all of them together...at the expense of Volo. 🤫
I did the same inside 😂
@@aaronsoong575And nothing of value was lost.
This is why you get volo back inside, and just sac your own bard at the expense of 100 gold and or a rev scroll 😂@aaronsoong575
Omg this is too good! The Magic Hand stopping the Dark Urge Barb from starting a fight 2 times killed me! 10/10 Masterpiece
Merry Christmas guys!
Why is the barb dark urge though?
Not only that, but stopping it from grabbing the meat on the cooking spit. When in-game, almost all of the meat in the courtyard area is chunks of dwarf.
hes not dark urge...he just lack intelligence XD
@@Blaidd8 only several are on the spit, no other parts of roasted dwarf anywhere.
@@Diablosff8 He is the Dark Urge. And Stupid ^^
an explosive performance 👏🏾👏🏾
He went with a BANG!
@RavenShugo he has dynamite potential 😅
booming applause
As a BG3-loving opera singer, your choice of track for this SENT me. Perfection.
Hearing Rigoletto out of nowhere was an awesome surprise, but the gag of the goblin with the opera binoculars was absolutely stellar. Definitely the best one yet!
I audibly cried "No!" when the barbarian put Volo's corpse in his inventory. Assuming this is based on their actual playthrough I'm sad they won't get to see him produce that massive iron pick now.
Lmaooo I didn’t even catch that. 😭😂
couldn't they revivify him?
@@notusingmyname4791 Only works on the party members
I learned this when Jaheira died fighting Ketheric :( @@KingBuilder525
@@james3098 Same here
Another certified Carbot banger
I like to think that when Volo is holding the high note at 1:22, he has his hand up and his face is turning red as an homage to the Bugs Bunny cartoon “Long-Haired Hare” in which an opera singer comes to regret ever disturbing Bugs.
the gobs going ' RAKANISHU" made me nearly spit my tea
I love how the mage hand was acting as a spray bottle for the Barbarian Dark Urge
The Barbarian is more of a Goblin than actual Goblins
Some are dice goblins some are corpse goblins
@@radiomedusa the rest are loot goblins
Carbot x 4 Halfling Barbarians. The crossover no one expected.
YES!!!
There's definitely a nod there isn't there haha.
He’s gotten a lot of mileage out of that bark.
There is not a succinct way to fawn over Pavarotti and the integration of this scena.
🗣️BRAVI, BRAVI TUTTI
Saw the wizard planning on where to place the barrels and I knew where that was going. Twas a good show indeed.
How nice of the party to give 500 tons of explosives to the goblins
and they even included the detonator, how considerate
If they are anything like me they "found" the explosives in the locked store in the temple and decided they should be out for everyone to enjoy.
This is the best one yet! I was HOWLING at the rogue pulling out all of the barrels from the barbarian inventory. These have been such a delight and I truly love seeing how everyone creatively solves the same problems in BG3 differently. Excited for the next one!
This is ART. The fact it's also extremely funny is just a lovely bonus.
Very funny.
Shades of an old Bugs Bunny episode in the opera part.
Love it.
The way the music sync up with the animation (e.g at 0:55) is such great comedic timing. Can't help but chuckle every time.
I love that rakanishu is here
I love the Wizard having to constantly stop the Dark Urge from ruining the plan! LOL, get it under control, Dirge! And I love that Volo is singing so well, since he's a Wizard and not a Bard as most people tend to think of him, it would only be because he's so talented.
Who knew goblins were so refined. Loved the one with the opera glasses lol. :D
Magehand to control urges of Dark Urge .
Rogue learned to be more careful with her chronical cleptomancy.
Tactical placement of barrels supervised by mage.
Excellent performace by Vollo with bard to distract gobboz :)
Just beutiful :)
When we played campain with friends we fighted whole kemp becouse rude goblin brat insulted our paladin xD
For some reason I see 4 halfling barbarians.
me too, how odd
carbotanimations are people of culture as well I think xD
4 halfling barbarians will forever be a peak of barrelmancy
I saw this refence too! 4 Halflings Barbarians is rightfully written in the history of BG3.
Thank you for opera, that was glorious, precious and funny 😻⚡️
The fickle themes of la donna e mobile is perfect for this. Helping/Betraying Volo is just right for this song.
As a Bard Main & Volo Fan since BG1... I am doing Barrel Rolls laughing right now! So Good!
i just finished my first playthrough and seeing him plan the barrel placement was like watching myself when i was playing
The new animation style is on point I love it. Also mage hand keeping the dark urge in check is beautiful
Really feels like the animation took a big step up in this episode, never stop Baldurs Gate or Elden Ring please Mr Carbot ❤
The music, the singing, the scene, the crowd. I can't stop laughing!!! 😂
Looks like someone escaped from Diablo 2
0:07
The lighting and composition are remarkable! Your best work yet!
Why did it take me 10 episodes to realise that BarbDurge is the one carrying everything bc he's the only character that actually has enough STR to carry it all
So glad you guys chose to keep going with this series.
This is a perfect depiction of how this game is played
Ain't it?? Lol
the dibbler 2 fallen sounds used for goblins still make me laugh
The wizard snapping his finger to cast spells, still leaves me in tears everytime. 🤣
Mage hand stopping Dark Urge from screwing it all up… best cantrip.
A little sad that with volos death we won't get the icepick scene animated.
The true way to play BG3. Also throwing enemies to chasms
Really brought the house down that night.
Nothing beats enormous explosions combined with some classical music.
What song is this?
@@Vantage777 looking for it too
@@Vantage777 i think it is La Donna È Mobile (Rigoletto)
Man, he's such a team player, helping out everybody with those barrels, so thoughtful of him!
X3
They've learned barrelmancy. They're unstoppable now.
this may be my favourite yet! the way you animated the characters make it feel so alive (and hilarious)
Best series so far.
That was hell of a performance!.. Bravo!!! *standing ovation*
I literally just finished beating the game for the first time, and on honored mode too.... I stayed up way too late to do it. Totally worth it.
My first game was on Tactician (before honour mode was introduced), and now I kinda hate playing on high difficulties in BG3. The thing is, the first act is done so good on hard that when you get to act 3 final and all what the difficulty change does is removes the heals... I was dissapointed
@@AlexGromIf you think all the difficulty does is remove heals you haven't done honored yet...
Woa!
Hot damn, consistent shading! The characters look sharper than ever!
Congrats on your improvements to graphics, double shading, deepness and more work on osl, like near fire, is a great improvement. It's becoming epic as the baldur series. Love your work!
The best I found is you can poison their ale, make them all drink as you toast them, and then they're all half HP and easy to kill
The rouge carefully walking around not trying to accidentally steal an item speaks to the depths of my soul.
The SHADING in this whole episode!! It must've at least doubled production time. Great job guys, it didnt go unnoticed! 💚
The barbarian being the Dark Urge explains so much! 😂
I, too, distracted the goblins with an amazing solo, but that was so I could poison the booze. I made my framerate drop to single digits while defending against the attack on the druid grove instead. Two arrows, two turns, 100% destruction. (Because the barrels didn't chain all the way up to the ledge where Minthara was standing on the first shot.) *Chef kiss.* Thank you, Lairian, this meal was delicious
You gotta reload, now you'll never get the invisible detection eye
Man... I got that, but reloaded cuz I spent so much time dialing in my character's demon eyes. Is it worth it? That procedure just felt like something.... I didn't want my character to live with
so good
u end up not seeing a difference..heh@@konradk1066
@@konradk1066 It is incredibly worth it. Especially in the end-game.
@@konradk1066totally worth it.
Omg i know the game is already out but i sure hope these clips keep going to the very end. Im having a ball with them LMFAO!
The Diablo 2 Fallen sounds are just
👌*Chef's Kiss*👌
Chatacter sheets 0:53 -- I love all your videos!
best bg3 episode yet! im not sure if the carbot team - is it a team, or is it one guy? - intended this, but the verdi aria being sung here is called "la donna e mobile," which translates to "woman is fickle," and is about deception. perfect choice for volos performance as the others quietly strew bombs around the fort.
Have I mentioned that I love your work? Because I love your work.
Brilliant as always! ❤
This is probably one of the best, if not the best animation Carbot ever pulled.
Always a fan of course, but if we're honest that was very "Four Halfling Barbarians"
I hardly think anyone has a copyright over "put a lot of explosives around the enemies". This has been a thing since all the way back in Divinity: Original Sin 1
I just. LOVE the fallen noises from diablo 2 for the goblins. Its beautiful
Would have been funny to show them team poisoning all the goblins first then blowing them up anyway with the barrels just to be thorough heh. Good stuff as always.
Some of them survive the poisoning. No mercy. No survivors.
That barbarian need to be stoped, he's a menace to the all the realms
Even if someone never played a game from Larian Studios, this video will sum up their gameplay.
This was so masterfully grand, brings me tears of joy!
Shame. You could have had your eye carved out with an ice pick, but you just had to choose violence.
I love how you can straight up genocide every goblin to the camp, and in the camp they are all chill like as if you are not about to murder the rest of them
The Barbarian’s intrusive thoughts are winning…
This freaking series is keeping me sane at this point 😅😅😅
I love how quick and easy they rez the barbarian - like, you couldn't even tell they died from the barrel damage due to the fact barbarians out of combat are squishier to this than a rogue.
Danger Sense. Exploding Barrels are a dexterity saving throw.
they really aren't
they have a bigger health pool by default
Not rez’d, just didn’t die
Rakanizo .. that sound from Diablo gives me goosebumps always
It's clear that Carbot likes opera xD
Thank you so much for another amazing episode!!! Merry Christmas guys, and thanks for making this year special ❤️😊
More Bg 3 please ❤, diablo iv and blizzard deserve no attention 👌🏻
What gets me is just how accurate this is... for Dungeons and Dragons. My players have done exactly this sort of elaborate plan involving distractions and explosions. It's like Carbot has a seat at my campaign table.
They killed Volvo! Monsters!
A masterpiece in more ways than one.
Beautiful. The rakanishu sounds lmao
I like how the party dynamic is developing.
Bard is doing bard things, Rogue is trying to do her thing but getting fucked over by the mechanics and bad RNG while Mage is carrying with his tactics and by taking advantage of Dark Urges' dark urges.
Poor Volo. Everyone THINKS he's a bard, but he's just a wizard.
I loved where he grabbed the barrel as a seat lol. The art looked great too!
"Haagen Dazs -- The Dark Urge" absolutely killed me
I love you've chosen Pavarotti's Aria ... We miss him so much ❤
Lol the barbarians blast outline on the ground at the end xD
The art and animation really is hitting another level these days. Good job, best friend Carbot.
