@davidwalker2402 It's just that the ABs might still be finding their feet under Razor while the Boks have been able to shuffle players, give new ones game time and adapt to Tony Browns' style while still getting the maximum points in Aus, it's been 33 years since the Boks have won back to back in Australia and at the moment the Boks have lost 3 games in their last 21 or something, 1 to NZ and 2 to Ireland and given some were tier 2 teams the Boks on paper on stats aren't looking too shaby and could give NZ a hard time. Realistically though when was the last time the Boks had such a chance at winning the championships, the next 2 tests are going to be the real decider because I'm more confident the Boks will put Argentina away and even if they got 1 win each from NZ and Arg, and Aus got a win against Arg, and NZ beat Aus twice, the Boks could still potentially be ahead of NZ and win depending on BPs. Boks apply a different type of pressure, including scoreboard, and they won't miss kicks for goal for fun or fold in any area of the game. AB's first phase platform and error rate too high to stop boks. ABs defence is also not tight enough.
We never played this style of Rugby, NZ has always been up as the scoring machine, we play to dominate physically and crush the opposition not score points as much as we can, sure it looks good to see so many points on the board, but a W either way is a W. what is needed is to win when it matters, who cares if it's by 1 point like the world cup or 30 points.
Incredible that none of them actually answered the opening question. Just recited generic comments on the last AB game. Lots of rugby media people do this. I don’t know why.
I said it after the AB's shock loss, and I'll say it again : never write off an AB team. BUT. I'm a great believer in Rassie and the systems he's build.
Watching Boks/ Wellabies Brisbane game. Boks played a warmup match as it appeared .ABa / Argies Wgton game was far below the potential . It sent wrong signals . Then Eden Park totally different . However ABs must watch out the Boks . Raisi s formation plan is very much fwd focused . So to counter them ABs must b watchful . More numbers in front means extreme pressure on opposite Team. . That also means holding territory in a positive way . ABs have clustering problem. ABs must play open field game by putting numbers in front which gives huge leverage IF they play with accuracy offloads attack hard ie don't let Boks possession . When U look at Boks games they r focused planned fast n above all passion ..ABs don't have these .at comparative level . U don't play Mohammed Ali stylu BUT Tyson style . Boks try drop kicks they r good at distance penalty kicks n with accuracy . A BB s must not forget they r playing for Championship n not any Charity So discipline breakdowns throws scrum time accurate offloads all matter a lot . ABs must maintain speed as their weapon of mass destruction . It takes ABs a while to wakeup in this Supersonic age . That's concerning . Boks r a very good side but no one can say they will always win only if ABs can keep their wits together n take every opportunity to add points on the board n simply not ONLY relying n hoping for TRY . BEST OF LUCK I against BOKS . May God Give Guidance .
Nope, there is no such thing as a "World Cup Final Rematch" unless it is a world cup final. Sorry to burst your bubble. In order for that to happen, both teams need to make it to the next World Cup Final. The AB's had their "World Cup Final Rematch" against the Springboks, in 2023, they lost, again.
John Kirwan how you played for the All Blacks in 1985/87 was old style stuff compared today. Plus I for one am flipping glad that Scott Robertson is the coach and not you. as a bok fan i think nzl will take this. i think Boks are currently a little better, but psychologically, ABs will be fired after the final loss. Boks are favourites, and IMO this one one of the biggest predictors for our success.
South Africa could absolutely handle us. Don’t see us winning two in a row. If we can win won and be close that’d be ok for a new teams but I’d take two competitive losses tbh.
Can’t see us beating SA in SA at the moment. Really need to find a big, hard nosed, dominant blindside ASAP. The various coaches seem to have lost faith in Finau, even though the confused game-plan against England was probably the main reason for his quiet games. Needs more time
I think it’s going to be closer than you think , we are doing new things and playing with a different approach and we are doing it well, but not perfected at all, you can put pressure on us and capitalize on our mistakes
Thanks JK we as South Africans do take the challenge on being the favorites' is maybe a new thing for us .We better get use to that then. We have the worlds respect for the AB. OG Schoolboy player here from Sydney. We both as Intl Teams need to go back to the broken play style. Get the backs doing more skills not for set plays but random or capitalizing plays.
As a Bok supporter I am concerned about how SA's ex players and others are talking as if the Boks cannot be won! Sorry, any team can loose. They lost against Ireland who were better on the day. n The AB's never lie down. They were bomb shocked by Argentina who anyway can win any team when they want. Therefore the Boks must be humble and make sure they stay focused.
Don't agree that the pressure is on SA. The AB have a lot more pressure knowing that they had to win both tests to win the competition. SA can loose one and still be crowned winners. If SA loose two tests at home it will be one of their biggest test set backs in history. It's possible but considering where they are at the moment it's unlikely. The pressure is far more on NZ. With one loss, a new coach, playing away from home and not knowing what to expect from SA, this is going to be tough. The only thing they can rely on is perhaps a good record at Ellispark and an excellent game against Argentina.
No way in hell would we in South Africa 🇿🇦 ever disrespect the AB, EVER!! I don't care how many losses the AB's could be coming from,we will always, always show respect to the great AB's Team. can't get any better than the boks and all blacks clash big respect to the spring Boks
If you want to show respect, get the name right, it is the SPRINGBOKS, one word, surely you know that by now? I'm also looking forward to the games against the All BlaNks.
Why no comment on the last 38 min of no scoring from the AB’s. Actually tied the second half 7/7.
Boks apply a different type of pressure, including scoreboard, and they won't miss kicks for goal for fun or fold in any area of the game. AB's first phase platform and error rate too high to stop boks. ABs defence is also not tight enough.
I'd give SA a 4 out of 10, didnt put 50 on Aus even once. NZ would have, that's for sure. We're still not as good as these pundits say
JK is a poor reflection on New Zealand, I'd be ashamed if he represented my country
0:58 In South Africa whe will call you " lekker groot bek". You don't know, what we know.
I think doos would fit as well lol
@@alistairclifton1286lol😂
JK must stop the cap. super interested in the upcoming match up
Much respect to the All Blacks from South Africa
World Cup Final Rematch!!!
Can’t wait!!!!
All I can say is im excited. Go All Blacks
It’s awesome to watch pundits. I usually watch my pundits as a Bok fan. Gotta say, NZ are soooo serious.
Yes, and soooooo boring.
Cant wait for you chaps to get to RSA and play our boks. No better game in sport than an ABs boks game.
As a "veteran" Bok supporter we all know that on the day a match between the AB's vs Boks could go either way.
John Kirwan how you played for the All Blacks in 1985/87 was old style stuff compared today. Plus I for one am flipping glad that Scott Robertson is the coach and not you. Keep your criticism to yourself.
As a Crusaders Fan I would have Will Jordan at fullback, here's my AB's Team 1st Test v Springboks.
15 Will Jordan
14 Rieko Iaone
13 Anton Linert-Brown
12 Jordie Barrett
11 Mark Telea
10 Beaudy Barrett
9 Cortez Ratima
8 Ardie Savea
7 Sam Cane
6 Ethan Blackadder
5 Sam Darry
4 Scott Barrett C
3 Tyrone Lomax
2 Codie Taylor
1 Williams
16 Amo Aumua
17 Fletcher Newell
18 Tu'ungafasi
19 Tupou Vai 'I
20 Dalton Papa'ili
21 Perenara
22 David Havili/Billy Proctor
23 Damien Mckenzie
Who’s the Beastie boy sitting to the right?
As South African supporters, we never underestimate or disrespect the All Blacks.
All the pleasure is on us yes sir, we respect that
Mils is the only not biased one on the panel...so good to hear the other 2 clowns holding on to their pride rather than complimenting the boks
We don't need their compliments.
Springboks are the best, give credit where it's due. All Blacks unfortunately no longer has that Xfactor
Dream on boy we will show you
@@Charlie-it1kk Like you did in the last two tests?
@@Alias-gy3tzon shit!😂
Theres a lot of boks and NZ FAns here....whats your honest thoughts on our new england team in recent form?
...erm _ what form. The Johnny Wilkerson era, that was form.
How times have changed , JK actually conceded that the Boks are favourites to win , don't think I've heard that from him before !
Guys you are over thinking this , just go play your best game plan , the boks are waiting for you - Game on , 2 great close games on the way !
It doesnt matter how good or bad nz or sa are
This rivalry is the greatest and both team's are capably of winning
It's not the coach now its the player's who make decisions
3 point kicks are important but i hope tries reign in this contest
as a bok fan i think nzl will take this. i think Boks are currently a little better, but psychologically, ABs will be fired after the final loss. Boks are favourites, and IMO this one one of the biggest predictors for our success.
JK is living proof of how head injuries were not checked during his playing career 🤣🤣🤣
I blame the Bomb Squad 😂😂
Whats with the massive specs????
Thank you from Joburg
South Africa could absolutely handle us. Don’t see us winning two in a row. If we can win won and be close that’d be ok for a new teams but I’d take two competitive losses tbh.
ABs struggle when put under pressure, SA will definitely put them under pressure so let’s see but Boks should take this 2 games
Well said Sam Kane!!
What a test match coming up.
As a SAFFA, AB’s always enter next level when they play us. Boks to win the 1st, AB to win in Cape Town
Boks to win both.
I think the All Blacks will win by 20+ in game 2 against the boks.
First game might be close though.
The two tests in SA are finals rugby. Boks by one times two.
'Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.' - Mike Tyson.
'Everybody has a plan until they get tackled by a Springbok.' - Myself
@@mthabitX This is no time to be humble....!! Remember the AB when they were favoured by the IRB. Not that the Springboks are favoured
They weren’t very impressive in the second test against Ireland in the first 20 minutes it was the Irish who absolutely flattened the boks…😂
Everyone has a plan until you get tackled by PSDT
@@mthabitX My point was made to the OP not you.
Bro comparing himself to Tyson. Must be a saffa.
Thanks JK we as South Africans do take the challenge on being the favorites' is maybe a new thing for us .We better get use to that then. We have the worlds respect for the AB. We know JK don't really like the Boks and South African Playstyle, we get that and there no hard feelings .We take that pressure and challenge then JK. I believe the tow best sides will be on that field and may the best team on the day win.
...the new and dynamic SA game is now both brute force coupled with skilled base. Teams now just don't know when they are going to turn which one on or off and that makes this new South African powerhouse a totally unpredictable tsunami.
That admission by Sir John Kirwan.😂 Why does it feel like he's subliminally jinxing it, crossing fingers and hoping that we lose against their 'work in progress ' side?
sup with the window frame on the guys face
OG Schoolboy player here from Sydney. We both as Intl Teams need to go back to the broken play style. Get the backs doing more skills not for set plays but random or capitalizing plays.
JK must have loved the eyesore that was the spectacle of uncontested scrums in the SA-Aus game.
As an All Black fan, springboks have the edge over us !
Can not be "beaten". That is not true, they do not claim that.
Havent a chance against those giants, when they maul near our line they will score everytime
All Black Team: Hey Bokke!!!! 👹😡👹😡
Springboks: You could not live with your own failure, where did that bring you..back to me.😂
😂😂😂😂😂 yes man
That's normal for South Africans, we are born with pressure.
The only thing they can rely on is perhaps a good record at Ellispark and an excellent game against Argentina.
so we dont have ball skills? Springbok on another level.. John is smoking something here.
No way in hell would we in South Africa 🇿🇦 ever disrespect the AB, EVER!! I don't care how many losses the AB's could be coming from,we will always, always show respect to the great AB's Team.
Next 2 weeks I expect real fireworks from the AB's coz they're gonna bring it on hard unto the BOKS.
It sure promises to be a killer and brutal 2 games of Rugby.
Respect to the AB's indeed but BOKKE BEFOK FOR LIFE🇿🇦🙌🏿
New Zealand are still hurting from the final they got one for the Boks. The Boks don't wanna loose this one so its poised to be good. Whoever doesn't show up on the day is in trouble. It's going to hurt either way
Probably the funniest thing about kiwi comments re revenge for the RWC final. SA is totally unaware, head in the sand. They will be up for this game but so will we. Make for spectacle. So looking forward to it
Lekker JK, challenge accepted 😂🍻
Without doing the basics right, nothing else will work. No amount of strategy, skills, planning, etc, would mean anything without the basics
Lol as a South African the only team we don't assume we will win against is the AB! ❤
Rassie never called it a B side.
DM was successful behind a go forward pack
Of course they can!!!
All Black forwards have to step up.😊😊
I respect the All Blacks. I witnessed what they did the last time they were here. They ruined a lot of After Parties, Concerts and post match festivities. 😅😅😅 South Africans who disregard the All Blacks don't know anything about that team.
Im so sorry, i didn't even know that jon kirwan was nearly blind, that poor man has the hubble telescope on his face just to even see.
I'm a proud South African.. proud of the Bokke!! Aphelele Fasi, Makazole Mampipi, Lukhanyo Am, Siya Kolisi, Ox Nche, Bongi Mbonambi, Sacha Mngomezulu, etc !!! Go Bokke!
