I had the original Mustang competition model over 50 years ago. I remember the 2 red stripes and the light blue interior.

You should use a flat scraper for opening boxes. They are wider and give you more leverage than a screwdriver.
I've not had a problem but I'll bear it in mind.👍

That screwdriver trick is brilliant! Can imagine that coming in handy for lots of other box lids.

It comes in very handy, not just on these toys but any boxed items where the box is important 👍
Shame about your damaged back drop, no doubt you've had it exchanged by now. Corgi Model Club customer service are excellent when comes to replacing damaged models and boxes etc.

hi jules,i had a defect on one of my models.got in touch with corgi and it was replaced straight away,with no questions at all.

No, but they have announced it's released just yesterday, it'll be out by Christmas.
