Michelangelo Galilei was born in Florence in 1575 and died in Munich in 1631.
He was a younger brother of the famous astronomer Galileo Galilei who was also a skilled lutenist.
His father was the famous Italian lute player Vincenzo Galilei.
The Toccata on this video is from Michelangelos ’il Primo Libro d’Intavolatura di Liuto’ from 1620.
