It's nice to see Ritu Phogat come this far. She just happened to run into a 3-sport champ in Stamp Fairtex, who beat her at her own ground game and she couldn't come close to matching in standup the way Alyona Rasohyna did.
Stamp is such a beast! Good fight from Ritu as well. It's not easy trying to hang with arguably the best female Muay Thai fighter. Thank you ONE for giving us awesome fights
Indian one is not fighter. She waste our time and make us feel boring with her traditional wrestling skills. She deserve indian traditional town wrestling. Not mma fight. She deserve this type of thai fighters. Who can let her know traditional wrestling does not work in ma fight. Her all skills contain on wrestling only.
I also want a rematch, but the truth is Angela Lee is a way better fighter overall when it comes to mixing it all up. Angela sets up beautiful takedowns which one just wouldn't see coming while she's striking, which really exposed a hole in Fairtex's grappling defense game in the 1st fight.

It must be difficult for Ritu, a different culture, place and language. It was clear that she couldn't even follow her coach's instructions because of English. But still a good fight over all, she might have won on points given her control time and initiative and take downs if she hadn't been submitted in the end. Anyways, Muay Thai plus Jiu jitsu takes the win over wrestling plus boxing on this day.
One female fighter is from india and she is a hinduism and the other female fighter is from Thailand and she is a Buddhist. Buddhism is a part of hinduism which clearly means that they are both sisters
Yes exactly just grappling and locking . One fc does have many insane skilled fighters and Ritu can't complete against them. Ritu should fight some Muay Thai newbie fighters to gain experience first . And it's not her fault too. In India mma is not famous and it's hard to find good training school in India which is so sad. I want to train too but this same problem I'm facing too no proper training school with proper trainers . Whatever is here they charge too much money
My observation is ritu is great wrestler. She has to improve strikes. Learn on striking. Leg locks etc. As great wrestler she with stand locks. But striking using hands not upto. Ifeel
Stamp needs to let her offense fly more on her feet and have confidence when it goes to the ground.i like her potential however had her opponent been more offensively sound in any regard she may have lost similar to the Lee fight.
