The drill press is pretty sweet, but you can use a chisel and regular drill. The whole thing is actually not that bad with hand tools. But anything with hand tools takes a bit of time
@@Rearmostbean haha yeah..i think i wrote this comment out of spite from the title of this video ..everything else is pretty easy-to-use imo..nothing too advancee 😆
Not really disagreeing with your point, but that's actually a bandsaw and a mortiser. Slightly different tools, but everything in this build can be done with much less expensive tools.
I thought the samething. Inspiring for someone starting out or who doesn’t have the proper tools in certain situations. Sometimes gotta make due with what you’ve got.
So many comments pointing out the mistakes, which kinda sucks to read, I'm sure. This person made something nice, and they obviously have skills. When I found videos like this, I started sleeping better. Please continue growing as a woodworker and uploading.
Excellent work. Really enjoy seeing what you create. Keep up the great work. Although I agree with some safety concerns brought up, if you look closely, he is taking very small bites of the wood and is not forcing it when using the chisel.
nice solid design. video 3 years old as seems to be the norm with what the youtube algorithm keeps giving me now. i hope you are still producing content
That's a very nice bench, but "simple" means something very different from what you are doing. You have good skills and have made something complicated and beautiful.
Nice job! Please use the timber to push the offcuts away from the bandsaw blade. That way it is better to accidentally cut the timber than cut your finger off.
Lovely project, but just one thing: you are encouraging your watchers to use a very sharp chisel and push it towards your hand. If it was to slip, it's half a day on hospital, at least. Think again about your example. Clamp your work. Do not rely on hand holding.
I guess you don't need a $4k table saw, a $1k sanding system or a $700 sliding power miter saw to do some good work. Very nice work . Keep doing good work and showing it on TH-cam.
I'll never get over the fact that you can put a square tube over a round drill bit and get square holes. One of those things i always have a hard time wrapping my admittedly slow witted mind.
Same complaint different project. Why do you do your very excellent work, design work and workmanship with framing grade lumber. I've got plenty of black walnut, plenty of cherry and plenty of white oak to build such a bench with. Seriously man your work warrants a long step up in your choice of materials. Best regards young man and keep up the excellent, excellent work.
It looks like you were meaning for this to be some type of flex, but instead you just came out looking like an arrogant arse who doesn’t know that white oak, cherry, and black walnut are all hardwoods native to North America.

Beautiful with sophisticated joinery. But what I loved the most was the sounds of the rooster!
I agree..this was so superbly easy to made using my imaginary drill press and scroll saw..ive made at least 100 of these just now..👊
Yeah, it's incredibly easy to make if you have all the fancy machines 😉

This whole project can be done whit a brace a drill bit and a hand saw. Be creative.
Your work is second to none outstanding May God continue to bless you and your family, Work.
Nice ideas, but very rough woodworking.
I thought the samething. Inspiring for someone starting out or who doesn’t have the proper tools in certain situations. Sometimes gotta make due with what you’ve got.
Your work in wood is wonderful, I also work in the field of wood. Greetings to you from Egypt
Excellent wood working project. Thanks for sharing your video. Good job 👍
You have a precise measurements like an engineering skill. I subscribed your TH-cam channel to support your videos 👍

I like that no screws were used. Only joints glued together. Well done 👍🏻
Just erased all my stress. Thank you for this video!
Amazing skill. Simple for people who got lots of tools needed. Watching from Kansas USA.
Thank you for watching
Simple and easy, if you have the right tools and are a experienced woodworker.
It's absolutely right if it's used for various small hobbyist jobs minute to have sunshine fun.

Ficou lindo o banco o gato 🐈 gostou bastante
Bonito video, interesante trabajo
Great idea, now everyone can try it, keep up the good work
Very nice craftsmanship. It's a little rough around the edges but it's really not about that.
Nice project. (@ 1:07) Just be careful using your chisel towards your other arm, one slip, and... well you know.
Nice! Well done 👏
Without clamping and using chisel is very unsafe. Bad Practice it can cause serious injuries
Very cool project 👍👍👍🤘 my friend
I love your work was wondering if you post measurements anywhere
Fascinating ! 👍👍👍👍
❤my kind of carpentry, get it done, why I glue up with Liquid nails, no fine tuning needed😉
Super merci beaucoup
Do you happen to have any dimensions or measurements for this?
Good job 👍👍👍👍
Fast project, if you have the right tools.
Very nice work!!!

Not everyone can afford that sort of timber.

Nice! You make it look so simple! I need every piece of equipment you have. I want to make a wooden checker table for my kids. Can you make one?
we will do in the upcoming videos. please follow
@@woodworkingskill Yay! Thank you!
Cool.
But its quite complicated for me. To make this simple chair, i dont need those drills and etc. But i will need some nails and hammer. 😅😅
Excelente labor
Nice work 👍
Beautiful piece of furniture. Many thanks for sharing your talent.
Dude, if you want to show a DIY project, do it using a jigsaw, and other portable tools. dont use industrial tools
Yes i agree...not many people have a industrial tools.
That's the dumbest comment I've seen on here all day. Use your damn head and make substitutions.
Why not use hand tools, then you'll appeal to everyone and show real skill, too. 😊
Cross grain dovetails are a no-no. Wouldn't be surprised if the pins broke in less than a year
Very good C &J.
Could the end have been a single piece with a cut out?
I enjoyed your video tremendously! Please keep posting your projects . . . they are a joy to watch and full of valuable tips on woodworking!
what is that red tool @1:46?...thank you

Perfeito, vc é um excelente marceneiro. Trabalho top. Muito bom. Parabéns
Lovely work!
Superb craftsmanship! 👏👏👏💪💪💪
Not bad. But if you use a Japanese saw, it will give you a more precise cut. You don't even need glue.
I disagree with the "easy" and "simple" adjectives used here. Many people don't have a scroll saw or a drill press.
@Matthew Meredith it's hard to believe he called that a scroll saw and drill press. Words fail me.
ث
That whole thing could be made with hand tools pretty easily (though not as quickly)...
Stop crying and use hand tools, this is easy to make using hand tools
Facepalm*
Totally awesome work God bless.👍👍🙏
good work ustad Pakistan
Me with my one dollar store saw, a pen, 6 in ruler from 2 grade and rounded 2x8 piece of wood from home depot taking notes 🤔
Jajaja no estás sólo. También lo hago...😅
The ruler that you could put the pens in.
Massive huge ginormous like 👍🏻
