This place used to be so, so nice years ago. Full of character and appeal. There was foliage everywhere, and there were several fountains. It's soulless now. Half of the shops are shut now too.
This person should get permission to film the whole of the Metrocentre and should have permission to film people walking around, clearly you need permission to film people around the malls
Not in the U.K. Implied right to be recorded if you are in a public or publicly accessible space. Metro centre also can’t make you stop recording - there only right is to trespass you from the property. U.K. doesn’t require 2 party consent to video.

If you don’t want to be identified, wear a face covering like auditors themselves do (not saying the uploader is one)
That is true if you read the customer code of conduct it states clearly you need a permit to record video on the mall and we have a right to tell you to stop recording as its private property
