I used to ride the lifts at Metro Centre in Gateshead. Those memories that I've missed: At platinum mall, the old scenic lift used to be 1986 Furse (Modernised by Thyssen in 2004) with hydroware. At blue mall, an old lift above green panelled windows which is also used to be the same as the platinum mall. At H&M, it was used to be Otis Gen2 in 2004, and now it's sadly being Modernised. At yellow mall (Qube), the glass lift was used to be an Oakland with hydroware back in 2009, and now being Modernised by schindler in 2018. At yellow multistorey car park, it was used to be an old lifts in 1986, Modernised by thyssen in 2005, and now Modernised by schindler in 2018. Finally: Back in 2008, does anyone know about the Metroland? The metroland lifts with hydroware was a bit faster, these are used to be old furse lift in 1986 and Modernised by thyssen in 2004, then it's sadly closed and demolished in April 2008. Thanks for viewing my memories. 😊

The lift in blue mall car park (LP2) has been modernized by ecodisc i believe.

The H&M GeN2 still has its clunk fortunately. 9:15 Sounds absolutely knackered.

GeN2 in H&M sounds pretty good. Wonder if it’s got a new VF or is original.

I don't get how the Furse in the blue car park (LP2) charges the hydraulic so fast, it starts the split second safety connects, sometimes it feels like it starts before the doors have fully shut!
I got a little look in the motor room but no pictures, the logic looks original but I have no proof really
