    The train can fly because Doc took it to the future before visiting Marty. It was "shooting lasers" because it was starting to travel through time again and it always throws off weird sparks or flames or some kind of random energy as it disappears.

    Fun fact: when Marty walks out wearing the "western" outfit Doc picked out for him and says "Clint Eastwood never wore anything like this" there is a movie poster next to him for Revenge of the Creature which is the first movie Clint Eastwood ever appeared in. He had a small part as a scientist.

    Fun continuity bit: Marty knew the ravine as "Clayton Ravine" because Clara would have died there without Doc. After he goes back to the future, there's a sign labelling it as "Eastwood Ravine" instead. Nice little Twin Pines/Lone Pine background detail.

    When Marty is being dragged by Buford “Mad Dog” Tannen, for the closeups, he was actually being dragged by the Go Cart of Benny the Cab, as much of the crew and production team, including Spielberg abs the director, Robert Zemeckis, made both the Back to the Future films and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, so the director still had the Go Cart used in that film.

    I just love how the Tannan and McFly families are linked throughout history, it's easy to imagine each generation . it's funny though that we never saw Biff's children in 1985/2015. George still has Biff to contend with and we see Marty's son in 2015 having to deal with Griff, Biff's grandson, but Marty himself doesn't appear to have a "Biff" his age (that I can remember). Biff appears to be an only child in 1955, living with his grandma, so we have to assume he marries and has a child/ren at some point. I think that would have been nice to see, even briefly. I hope I'm making sense. Also, maybe I'm overthinking things.

    It's interesting that the Delorian itself is a bootstrap paradox: Doc in 1985 says that he built the machine in 1955, but Doc in 1955 just reveals the machine hidden in the cave by the Doc in 1885. This machine is the very same from 1985.
    So from where exacty the car comes out?
    This comes from the bootstrap paradox, which means a paradox in a closed time loop:
    A guy goes in the past to meet Beethoven, which is his hero. In the past, the guy discovers that there is no Beethoven so he uses the synphonies and the materials from the future to become himself Beethoven and create his on hero.
    BUT if he uses the materials from the future, from where the materials originated in the first place?
    These sort of things are so fascinating. Sorry for my english!

    • @Slugbug
      @Slugbug ปีที่แล้ว

      In the first movie Doc said he had the idea in 1955, but he didn't have the materials to make it or the energy to power it until 1985. He never said he built it in 55.

    I always wondered how the doc built the new time machine out of a train. We know there’s still a time machine in 1885, the one he buried, but he couldn’t have used that one because he needed it to stay there for 1955 Marty. Did he build a new flux capacitor with 1880s parts? I mean, it could have taken him years since Jules and Verne were grown by the time he visited Marty in 1985… or did he use the 1885 machine to go to the future, build a new flux capacitor, go back to 1885, bury the machine and use the new flux for the train? Ok my brain’s fried.

    • @AnotherViewer
      @AnotherViewer ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As you said, we can use the approximate ages of his two kids as a reference point for how long he had to 1. use the parts from the hover board to create a new flux capacitor, 2. Remake the train speed boosters, get another train outfitted with the new flux capacitor, and then go off to the future. The train did not have to be as complex as what we see at the end of the movie, as doc said he already went to the future, at which point he could then add the flying equipment.

    How did Doc make a new time machine? Well, there are two Delorians in 1885. The one Marty brought, and the one Doc sealed up in the cave which 1955 Doc and Marty uncover. Doc could get that one out and use it to rebuilt a train into a time machine.
    Plot holes in the trilogy: Jennifer should be stuck on the alternate timeline. Old Biff shouldn't have been able to return to the same future as Doc and Marty since he changed the past. George and Lorraine never looked up Calvin Klein when he made it big in the fashion world? In the first movie, Marty would have led a completely different life since his parents are completely different people.

    @ 29:00 You should watch Clint Eastwood's first of the Spaghetti Western trilogy "A Fistful of Dollars" (1964). A piece of it was shown in BTTF part II, when Biff was in the hot tub with the two women, a foretelling of part III. If you haven't seen Fistful you should do a reaction vid as I'm sure you'd enjoy it and the following two, "For A Few Dollars More" (1965) and the finale "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" (1966). More good time travel movies to try, the one that set the standard, George Pal's "The Time Machine" (1960) the first really well made movie on the genre based on the H.G.Wells novel. There's another good reinterpretation of the novel done in the 2002 movie, same title. After those do "Time After Time" (1979) a clever time travel movie starring Mary Steenburgen who's playing Clara here on BTTF III. Maybe that's where you saw her before Some other good time travel movies do, "Interstellar" (2014), "Jumanji" (1995), "The Philadelphia Experiment" (1984) and "The Philadelphia Experiment II" (1993). The last two will blow your mind mostly because part 1 is thought by many (especially in the 80s) to have actually happened, but covered up! 🖖😎

    if you notice something interesting, every single "back to the future" movie, is about one man becoming the best version of himself... take a closer look.
    1: george mcfly is the start of the first movie, he didnt have confidence, and he learns to have confidence and become a corajeous man, therefore, inproving his life and the life of his family.
    2: martin mcfly is the start of the second movie, he has somewhat of "anger" issues, every time someone calls him "chiken" he loses his cool, he learns not to be like that, and to become a better person, more calm and patient, therefore, improving his future life.
    3: doc brown is the star of this movie, he was someone who was alwyas worried and thinking on all the things that could go wrong, and here, he finaly find someone who shows him what can go right, and he becomes a happpy man.
    so, as you can see, each movie is about the development of the acr of one character :)

    Taking Clara with them is literally not changing anything, because she was supposed to die. In the future, it could create problems because someone is there that shouldn’t happen. Ultimately, since she was supposed to die, taking her would not do anything major

    Really good reaction. You laughed at all the right parts. Sounds funny to say that, but watch other reactors and poke them to see if they're still alive. Not one left in the part where Clara finds the model of the Delorean...well, you did, and that was crucial to Clara's mindset. It was a good edit. You not only laughed at the right places, but you actually left in the right parts. Also, one of my favorite themes is Buford's incompetence, always having to refer to his cohorts in crime for the schedule or the proper wording of a colloquialism. You're really paying attention. Enjoyed it!!! :)

    There was no such thing as realistic CGI until the 90s. Before that, special effects were achieved with models, miniatures, matte paintings on glass, stop-motion animation, blue screens, puppetry, animatronics and trick lighting.

    • @NewfieMovieReactions

      I don't know what's involved with inventing gasoline, but that is a good thought.

    • @supensa

      Gasoline is a byproduct of petroleum processing, which doesn't really occur on a small scale. Doc would have had to have created an entire petroleum processing industry - over the weekend.

    If the DeLorean went back to 1885 just by getting hit with lightning, no 88MPH needed then why did they hafta make it go 88 when leaving 1955 the first time? humm

    • @leonardofeccini

      The Delorean struck by lightning was already altered from the future, not needing plutonium anymore to get the power needed... The Delorean of 1955 didnt have that much advanced technology.
