1 year removed from the Unsanctioned Lights Out match we get another awesome match between these 2 and much like last year they delivered and gave us another awesome match. Tonight, however, I did.
In my 14+ years of watching and loving pro wrestling, I have never been this invested and loved a women’s wrestler more. Thunder Rosa is fucking incredible at what she does and is the first woman in her art to legitimately touch my heart. She is changing the women’s wrestling landscape every day. I’ve adored her since day 1 of her debut and it’s so rewarding to see her achieve what she’s achieved.
An absolute icon.
That emotion when she won was real, it really meant the world to her.

the biggest problem with all this is how cold thier feud was and was rushed to get to this moment it hurt the overall build to the moment imo was a big moment but felt like it could of been bigger had they booked this all better

@@TMGxCoBrA well the feud was cold for almost a year and then boom hey remember this feud from last year and we all expected they have to be changing the title at the PPV and that match was booked soo poorly it didnt help anything ik shes had help in previous defenses but they went overboard and then they basically give thunder a rematch when other challengers go to the back of the line it was all just a big mess and could of been done way better

This has to be one of the best women's match. Both looked strong and determined to win. And both took bumps that were impressive. Both make the women's division something to be watched and not treated like filler.
I love how wrestlers look confused when theirs no ref to count the pinned when they clearly saw the ref being taken out. Not dumping on Rosa just a funny wrestling trope.

The only problem I had with the last few minutes is that Britt could have still done the "get the thumbtacks from under the ring" bit while selling the back injury from the stack o' chairs spot.

I thought it was a misstep in AEW’s part not giving Rosa the belt at Revolution but seeing her crowned in her hometown with that post celebration made me realize how wrong I was! This was her moment and it was more then well earned!

That powerbomb was so weak. I know this because Baker was only down for like 2 seconds after it. Those rubber thumbtacks are a weird weapon to use in a sports entertainment match.

I was there tonight. The place went crazy! My daughter and I shed a tear of happiness seeing a person of the same ethnicity and culture get the ovation she deserved. Amazing night for the Hispanic/Mexican community of San Antonio.
