The stylus is the same. The different falls on cartridge. I like 80bk more. Sounds better over MP-200.

What height do you have your tonearm at 2?

Hi for the JT-80, the height is level at 1. I then dialed in the VTA by ear and 1.25 sounds just right. I based it on 180 gram records since it is in the middle of 1440gram (normal records) and 200 gram records.

@@gerardopadilla4393 This is the exact same cartridge (different color) as the JT-1210 that technics developed with Nagaok and sold with the 1210GAE in Japan (other markets did not get the cartridge). That is one major reason I tried it. I'm glad I did
