Great photos, wow some pictures from the 70’s, they were the good old days. Once again thank for showing these photos. I hope you have more photos to shows. Have a good day.

Being a bit of a history buff I love this stuff and growing up in the GTA makes it special, great job.

..a transplant from Montreal, I have lived in Toronto for 40 years. It is the greatest city!! The best part of the planet.

I am a transplant too, I lived in Guelph before moving to Toronto, it was the interest in this city that made me want to do these videos.

Great video as per usual. I was wondering if you could do one of the west end where I grew up in what was known as the Borough of York around Dufferin, Oakwood, Rogers, Eglinton etc. Would love to see some old pics.

I forgot there was a Gray Coach bus station at the Queensway & Roncevalles and I miss the Inglis billboard with the new daily messages in that vicinity along the Gardiner too. I met one of the women who created those messages in post-secondary school.

That is why I do these videos to remind people of what was there before, and what is there now, glad I could bring back memories for you.

I'm actually saddened to see these comparison photos. I remember many of these locations. I will remember them in my heart just the same.

I couldn't count the times I ate at that Steak & Burger. Officially homesick and need a time warp

Last photo @4:37 did they build above the existing old building or they demolished the top floors? The ground floor seem to be intact... or may be it's just an optical illusion (the modern building is behind it not above it?

Optical illusion there is a modern building behind it.

I have a soft spot for Toronto because I was born here and currently live here but it wasn't that impressive compared to major centres around the globe. I will say it was much more affordable 20 years ago. Average people could afford an apartment in a central location, not a chance today.

Nice juxtaposition of past and recent photos, well done. We need a much longer video now by you with narration, perhaps a video series. Continue with the old and new expose', and please include next time Metro Toronto Zoo, the old police headquarters, the DVP, the outer limits of Toronto along Steeles and Maple Leaf Gardens to name a few. Thanks for the great show.
