    You CANNOT tax an economy/country into prosperity

      Labour always thinks taking money from business and from individuals results in growth. They believe they can spend your money better than you can. Always the same.

      “I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.”
      ― Winston S. Churchill.

    The only growth I have seen in the UK since July is Starmer,Reeves' and Rayners noses. I kid you not. Wait until April when Council Tax bills have shot up and the employer NI contributions kick in. I work in Transport logistics and trust me, prices will skyrocket after April and so will inflation. And so will your mortgage,rent, food, transport and general monthly expenses. What a great time to be a train driver.

    2024s BLACK HOLE
    £11.50bn Foreign environmental projects
    £6.50bn illegal immigrants
    £14bn Foreign Aid
    Why are uk citizens at the back of the queue ? the speaker of the house spent £250,000 of tax payers money on "fact finding tours" of the Caribbean
    Cut all the Foreign spending now Any pensioners dying of hypothermia this winter have been killed by this government😢 Taxation is THEFT without adding insult to injury by spunking it away abroad

    The government is totally out of its depth. None of them have ever generated any economic growth by running a company or hiring employees. They are focused on all the wrong things, not the foundations. The whole system needs a reboot.

    When i was younger, I was flat out labour, but I came from a staunch labour family, and it was old labour, not the red barmy army of today, as I got older, I started to venture to the right, I wanted the best for my children, and I was smart enough to see labour will never give our progeny a future.

    the year is 2024 can you name 1 government from around the world,
    that has turned the economy around by taxing more? just 1 take your time.
    what do you call trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results to every other time?

  • @ColinMill1
    @ColinMill1 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +7

    It was all so predictable. Reeves and Starmer banged on about hard decisions and black holes so consumer confidence fell through the floor triggering a recession in the retail sector that has had knock-on effects in other sectors. And then increasing employers NI kicked any residual thoughts of growth into the weeds. Someone with. GCSE in economics could predict it but not, apparently, Rachel from accounts.
