I accidentally was chatting with a man. We had a lot in common, lost a child, had great successes, grounded faith...just a lot of stuff. After chatting way into many nights I finally asked him for pic since he'd asked for mine. You cannot imagine my shock that he was a superstar singer. This story reminds me that chance encounters can be life altering. ❤
After listening to the story, it is very soulful and soothing. It is such an important message, to remember we are free to follow our own path and do not have to abide by all the pressures around us! And love can give the courage of doing that, even just remembering that love exists :) Wish you a lot of happiness, You seem someone unafraid to follow your own path!

I listened to this story already many times. It is very soothing :) just a little safe space of pea ce reminding of good things in the world. Very precious. Like I saw another commenter suggest, you could continue this story. Perhaps they could continue the habit of exchanging letters, in spite of being together, as a way to make sure they take the time to communicate.
This was all way too deep for falling asleep for me.. dealing with deep grief and health issues, this kind of story is just too much. However I absolutely understand how many people love this. Lovely work. Just a skip for me tonight. ❤

I like this and just thought about another way this can become a series: you could use the same formula but with other couples and love story letters. Considering the beginning of a couple can be more mysterious and exciting than later in life where things are more steady.

I rarely make it past the count down so if I wake in the night I just start the story over. Tonight though, I was awakened by an advertisement during the story…. I used to listen to a different sleep story channel but had to stop for the same reason. Please advise if there is setting or something I might need to change. Thanks.
There are never ads during Stephen’s stories, only after they’re done - I am so appreciative of that level of care. On some of his earlier videos, he gives instructions on how to turn those off too, but I think you need a TH-cam subscription for that because I don’t have access to those settings on my free account. If you have an iPhone, first check the length of Stephen’s story. Then set a timer for that amount of time - where it asks what to do when the timer ends, instead of selecting a tone, select “Stop playing”. This works very well for me because I am usually asleep by then. Once or twice when I’ve stayed awake for his entire story, I simply reset the timer and restarted the story, and I was off to a peaceful night’s sleep. Hope this helps.
@@medaarbour2623 It would be more helpful to STAY asleep is the ads were at the beginning and not blasting me awake at the end. As I said, I usually don't make it past the countdown - but am jostled awake when the ads are played AFTER I am asleep.
