I think he should not change the spawn point to the enclave without unlocking the chunk. I understand the point of view in terms of distance, which is if we are going to spawn in an locked chunk then lets choose the closer one. The error in this approch is he is choosing to use a locked chunk, but in case of lumbridge, it's not your choice, the game spawns you there.

I think the lack of randoms in the Rev cave isn’t due to the Rev cave itself, but the fact you keep hopping. Randoms only spawn on multiples of 5 minutes in game time and if you never reach 5 minutes, you’ll never get a random. Wilderness also won’t spawn randoms that can teleport you, ie dunce, but can spawn you ones that don’t, ie genie. Edit: just got to 58:33 where you get the genie, at 5 mins log in time, so I presume you figured it out
I think the only randoms you can't get in the wilderness are ones that teleport you to a different area, so the events that give costumes may also not spawn so you might not be able to get lamps from those.

From my analysis you have access to 5 begineer clue steps in your chunks. The fastest way to a silver bar would be juggling begineer clues for a 1/22 chance at a iron pickaxe. Then using the Al Kharid Mines, mine copper and tin until you get the smithing and mining level to mine and smelt silver ore.
Where this is an option I don't really want to unlock mining and smithing if I can avoid it as that would immediately trigger a 99 smithing grind without great access to any good methods! If someone doesn't claim the bounty with a straight silver bar or hunter training method then I'll give you a consolation amount of GP for the effort put in despite me not actually doing this! It's not a 200 hour time save if it lands you with a 2000 hour grind in return haha!!!
@@FrayRS appreciate the response, what do you consider a "good method" for 99 smithing on a chunk account if not the ones you have already. You are inevitably going to get a pickaxe source before you get an optimal (non chunk account) smithing method. With the chunks you have, you have access to gold, iron, coal, tin, copper, silver and access to a furnace and anvil realtively close to a bank.

You might be able to lure/dspear some of the named bandits from the bandit camp within enough range to kill and telegrab their loot. They have a 1/11 silver ore drop
He could use the uncommon copper/tin drops from previous monsters to superheat to 20 smithing, but idk if the 1/11 silver drop would be considered common enough to be a viable training method if its not even in the actual chunk@@GreylagRS

However, grinding the 240 bronze bars needed to get from 1 to 20 using only 1/64 copper ore drops and 1/128 tin ore drops 15000 + 30000 kills would not be a time save. Getting 358 x 1/25 bronze bar from skeletons (~8950 kills) still seems misable compared to just turning off the brain to run canifis laps imo but oh well
After each of your splashing sessions you should leave the wilderness to get the random events you have “queued up” (the game tries to give you an average of 1 random every X minutes, so you are extremely more likely to get a random the moment you leave the wilderness, hoping resets this)
You can get random events in the wilderness so this wouldn't work (certain areas might block/limit them but ferox does not). Source: I'm lamping in wildy so I only have the genie unless I want to bank stand for 0 exp in ferox. There might be another way but I'd have to look into it.

For the Ferox Enclave respawn, I think it should have been a requirement for that chunk. The respawn location is irrelevant, but the unlock itself is in an available chunk (so is the 200k gravestone). Since you rolled that before the rev caves, that would mean getting 5.2M from sources outside revs. I know it would be a grind, but I like the series and that kind of nonsense is the explicit fun of watching this kind of account.

Definitely a tip for video editing, I'd try to normalize your gain for your mic across the clips/the volume. I feel like the volume changes a LOT during the videos i.e 1:30 mark to the 1:38 mark. Loving the series, crazy chunk to roll.

in the wilderness, you cannot get random events which teleport you to a "different realm" - so you arent able to escape pkers with a random event by going to the dunce classroom for example - you got the genie because you just speak with him, he doesnt take you to a different location, im not sure which other random events fit that criteria, rick turpentine off the top of my head, hope this helps :) gl on the grind
Re: fairy rings, you're right it's hard coded which NPC's can "come through". It's a 1/6 chance to spawn a NPC when you travel from certain fairy rings. No NPC actually comes through the ring with you, it just seems that way. Also, still wondering when you're gonna realize you already have the Runecraft cape unlocked :)

He’s looking for a silver bar. Current method is via lamping hunter to 27 and catching baby implings for a 1/100 silver bar. Silver ore doesn’t work because he can’t train smithing. He wants to avoid unlocking a smithing training method to avoid the 99 smithing grind from the rune bar he’s got from Revs. Al-kharid mine for silver ore doesn’t work for above mentioned reason. Luring bandits or d-spearing them for silver ore doesn’t work for above mentioned reasons. Temple trekking isn’t possible without a silver bar to finish the quest. Doing the shades of mo’orton minigame isn’t possible without herblore, which is locked behind druidic ritual. Only skeletons in the haunted mine drop silver bars, and he doesn’t have the chunk for the haunted mine. Gonna have to think more out of the box here, guys!
Little bit of advice for splashing and if you decide to bankstand fletching (not sure why you would), you can use plugins to notify you of random event spawns so whack up your volume and maybe change your notification sound, that way you can be completely afk and still miss as few as possible. Also tying into this make sure you do any bankstanding at ferox as it is one of very few banks, and definitely the only one you have, where random events can still spawn.
I wonder if itd be viable to superheat silver ore, which dodges the 99 smithing grind and only requires lamping to 20 smithing? I'd have to think about where best to get the ore, and maybe youve already considered this! Love the series, keep it up!
You could try using dark lure on the lizards, they might get close enough to the fairy ring to get them through, I can edit this comment once I actually bother doing a kingdom divided on my main so I could test this. Another idea would be forcing one of the 1x1 lizards to be close to or on top of the fairy ring, for this you would need a decent number of accounts, one that has a d spear and pushes the lizard and the rest as walls similar to what hannanie did with the dark wizard. You only need one d spear account since you can get the lizards to spots where it is just a straight line to the fairy ring. The d spear might take kill credit though and that would mean being forced to wait for the lizard to wonder the right way /which might not be possible) or having to use dark lure. Either way the main idea is that it seems like 2x2 npcs can't go through the fairy ring, since the 2x2 lizard won't go through, I even tested with an alt to block it and force it to stand on the border of the fairy ring and it didn't work, but I did get several jackals to go through. The lizard stops being aggressive once you enter the middle of the fairy ring, it's range is one tile off from it. I think the fact that jackals can go through the fairy ring also has to do with their wander/aggro range reaching past the fairy ring. If you need more accounts for the blocking idea I'm sure you could make a temporary discord server for it and there should be enough people to do it.
Can you use the fairy ring method Settled used in Swampletics to force small lizards through the Nardah fairy ring to one in your area? They have a silver bar 1/64, and need 22 slayer.
Also, yes: random events that teleport you away to an instanced event cannot spawn in the wilderness. So that's why you get so many genies. The wiki's got it all, you really should give it a read!
Love the series :) A tip though, your voice is quite distorted in the recordings, try recording your mic less hot going into your soundcard and you could get better results
i attempted for a while to use alts to trap a desert lizard at a fairy ring, and get him to BIP. The only way to do it involves many alts as i could only seem to teleport stuff while it was un aggressive, so if you are that desperate for the silver bars, thats your only chance, essentially making a player wall to trap the lizard and slowly bringing him to the ring and waiting for the aggression timer every time for a 1/64. youd also have to kill the lizard and ice cooler it very fast before it despawns.
are you able to go down the private dig winch in the digsite? that has a iron pick spawn which means you have already unlocked 99 smithing grind :o. theres also a barbarian in varrock pub which drops tin ore, and a women, mugger, and thief in this area which drops copper ore. so you can get 20 smithing without training mining, and so smith a silver bar from a RDT silver ore drop.
theres also a level 5 goblin which drops tin ore which roams around rat burgiss, as well as a level 7 farmer which if killed on f2p drops copper ore. i think the roam range of both of these is into your chunks.
theres also another level 5 goblin which spawns inside ur chunks ontop of the hill north west of the exam centre, as it looks like tin ore will be far more difficult to get than copper ore. its respawn time is 20s so killing and hopping will be required. if you use mage at a distance u shouldnt get hit if u splash a bit more to get higher mage. or range. 20 smithing requires 4,470xp. with 18.7xp per tin and copper ore combined thats 4,470/18.7=240 tin and copper ores combined. 1/128 for the tin ore from the goblin/barbarian, so 30720 goblins/barbarians. this will take lets say u kill 1 goblin every 7 seconds (you can probably do more tho) thats 60 hours of killing goblins (recommend them over barbarians). copper is 1/64 from men/women/mugger/thief, so it will be alot faster to get then 240 copper, considering theyre all close to each other so you wouldnt have to hop.
after some more running around in your chunks ive found out that theres an armed skeleton (lv 25) which spawns sound of the air orb hill near edgeville ditch. this drops bronze bars at a rate of 1/25.6, so might be much faster to kill these, 12.5xp per bar so 9165 armed skeletons for 20 smithing. HUGE EDIT: there are actually loads of armed skeletons which spawn to the east of the air orb hill, so this might be a much more preferrable way to get 20 smithing, as no hopping required. also ntb training method.
EVEN BIGGER EDIT: since theres an iron bar spawn within ur chunk west of ferox enclave u only need to get 15 smithing on bronze bars then pickup iron bars for the rest. this means u only need 2,411xp. which is 2,411/18.7=129 copper/tin ore, or 2,411/12.5=193 bronze bars. i think itll be much faster for you to go for the bronze bars, but youll have to test that urself as im not sure. both are very doable goals tho, and i think theyll save you time.
PS if you are struggling with silver ore, you can use a team of d spearers to lure donny the lad, speedy keith or black heather from the bandit camp into ur tiles. its roughly 30 tiles, so considering someone lured a dark wizard to the g.e. i think its definitely possible. also its only 1/11 for silver ore.
Almost though I was onto something here with the hunter training: you can get 47 farming at the Mory patches, get an empty sack from Alice, fill it with hay in the varrock combat training room, make a scarecrow, complete the Mory Easy Diary and get a 2.5k xp lamp. But then I noticed you don't have the herb patch unlocked, and the lamp can't even be used for a skill below lvl 30... So good luck on the random event lamps I suppose!
You can use the mystic might prayer to increase your mage defence when on the run & increase chance they splash. Im fairly certain pray mage doesn't actually help stop splashing - it just decreases there max hit.
to put your silver bar misery at rest, you cannot complete creature of fenkenstrain without unlocking smithing as you have to get 4 smithing to make 3 bronze wires on an anvil. i ran around every one of your chunks looking for something to help, turns out it was in the quest guide all along lol. so no matter what, creature of fenkenstrain requires u to get 99 smithing.

In order to source the beginner clues there are tons of man and woman npcs in Varrock you can kill for a 1/90 beginner clue drop rate.

You could try using dark lure on the lizards, they might get close enough to the fairy ring to get them through, I can edit this comment once I actually bother doing a kingdom divided on my main so I could test this.
Another idea would be forcing one of the 1x1 lizards to be close to or on top of the fairy ring, for this you would need a decent number of accounts, one that has a d spear and pushes the lizard and the rest as walls similar to what hannanie did with the dark wizard. You only need one d spear account since you can get the lizards to spots where it is just a straight line to the fairy ring. The d spear might take kill credit though and that would mean being forced to wait for the lizard to wonder the right way /which might not be possible) or having to use dark lure.
Either way the main idea is that it seems like 2x2 npcs can't go through the fairy ring, since the 2x2 lizard won't go through, I even tested with an alt to block it and force it to stand on the border of the fairy ring and it didn't work, but I did get several jackals to go through. The lizard stops being aggressive once you enter the middle of the fairy ring, it's range is one tile off from it. I think the fact that jackals can go through the fairy ring also has to do with their wander/aggro range reaching past the fairy ring.
If you need more accounts for the blocking idea I'm sure you could make a temporary discord server for it and there should be enough people to do it.

Also, yes: random events that teleport you away to an instanced event cannot spawn in the wilderness. So that's why you get so many genies. The wiki's got it all, you really should give it a read!

A tip though, your voice is quite distorted in the recordings, try recording your mic less hot going into your soundcard and you could get better results
i attempted for a while to use alts to trap a desert lizard at a fairy ring, and get him to BIP. The only way to do it involves many alts as i could only seem to teleport stuff while it was un aggressive, so if you are that desperate for the silver bars, thats your only chance, essentially making a player wall to trap the lizard and slowly bringing him to the ring and waiting for the aggression timer every time for a 1/64. youd also have to kill the lizard and ice cooler it very fast before it despawns.

are you able to go down the private dig winch in the digsite? that has a iron pick spawn which means you have already unlocked 99 smithing grind :o.
theres also a barbarian in varrock pub which drops tin ore, and a women, mugger, and thief in this area which drops copper ore. so you can get 20 smithing without training mining, and so smith a silver bar from a RDT silver ore drop.
theres also a level 5 goblin which drops tin ore which roams around rat burgiss, as well as a level 7 farmer which if killed on f2p drops copper ore. i think the roam range of both of these is into your chunks.
theres also another level 5 goblin which spawns inside ur chunks ontop of the hill north west of the exam centre, as it looks like tin ore will be far more difficult to get than copper ore. its respawn time is 20s so killing and hopping will be required. if you use mage at a distance u shouldnt get hit if u splash a bit more to get higher mage. or range.
20 smithing requires 4,470xp. with 18.7xp per tin and copper ore combined thats 4,470/18.7=240 tin and copper ores combined.
1/128 for the tin ore from the goblin/barbarian, so 30720 goblins/barbarians. this will take lets say u kill 1 goblin every 7 seconds (you can probably do more tho) thats 60 hours of killing goblins (recommend them over barbarians). copper is 1/64 from men/women/mugger/thief, so it will be alot faster to get then 240 copper, considering theyre all close to each other so you wouldnt have to hop.
after some more running around in your chunks ive found out that theres an armed skeleton (lv 25) which spawns sound of the air orb hill near edgeville ditch. this drops bronze bars at a rate of 1/25.6, so might be much faster to kill these, 12.5xp per bar so 9165 armed skeletons for 20 smithing.
HUGE EDIT: there are actually loads of armed skeletons which spawn to the east of the air orb hill, so this might be a much more preferrable way to get 20 smithing, as no hopping required. also ntb training method.
EVEN BIGGER EDIT:
since theres an iron bar spawn within ur chunk west of ferox enclave u only need to get 15 smithing on bronze bars then pickup iron bars for the rest. this means u only need 2,411xp. which is 2,411/18.7=129 copper/tin ore, or 2,411/12.5=193 bronze bars. i think itll be much faster for you to go for the bronze bars, but youll have to test that urself as im not sure. both are very doable goals tho, and i think theyll save you time.
PS if you are struggling with silver ore, you can use a team of d spearers to lure donny the lad, speedy keith or black heather from the bandit camp into ur tiles. its roughly 30 tiles, so considering someone lured a dark wizard to the g.e. i think its definitely possible. also its only 1/11 for silver ore.
Almost though I was onto something here with the hunter training: you can get 47 farming at the Mory patches, get an empty sack from Alice, fill it with hay in the varrock combat training room, make a scarecrow, complete the Mory Easy Diary and get a 2.5k xp lamp. But then I noticed you don't have the herb patch unlocked, and the lamp can't even be used for a skill below lvl 30... So good luck on the random event lamps I suppose!

You can use the mystic might prayer to increase your mage defence when on the run & increase chance they splash. Im fairly certain pray mage doesn't actually help stop splashing - it just decreases there max hit.

to put your silver bar misery at rest, you cannot complete creature of fenkenstrain without unlocking smithing as you have to get 4 smithing to make 3 bronze wires on an anvil. i ran around every one of your chunks looking for something to help, turns out it was in the quest guide all along lol. so no matter what, creature of fenkenstrain requires u to get 99 smithing.
He can boost smithing with Kovac’s but he can’t get to it which is the problem.
Just because he doesn't have a primary method to train smithing doesn't mean he can't use one of the secondary methods to get to 4 easily enough
