I look forward to Sunday morning every week. It’s such a ray of sunshine in a cloudy world.

Thank you for this small glimpse of this beautiful part of the world. My wife and I had a hiking trip booked to go there, but sadly I had a stroke and wasn’t strong enough to make the trip. Now that I have recovered (somewhat) we hope to one day rebook our trip...

With so much corruption and darkness in the world, Kristine Tompkins is a lighthouse for humanity.

I did a trip in the mid '90s to the area South of what is now this park. Into Cerro San Lorenzo. I can attest, it is beautiful country, and maybe I need to plan a trip to this now park.
After all, I did eat the calafate berry, which by lore will ensure my return to Patagonia!

This is a life's work. God, please use me to do something so selfless as this that means so much to so many people and brings nothing but joy to all who hear of it.

About 20 years ago there were huge amounts of land in Patagonia that were up for sale. I'm talking 12,000 acre tracts of land.

I'm trying to understand so the Chilean government sold Half a million acre National Park to an American couple and then this couple turned around and donated it back to Chile and in return for nothing ? my question is why did Chile sell their beautiful natural resource to a wealthy couple ? I am at a loss as to why a country would do that in the first place I didn't know that could be done
