Welcome all of you to our DTU Studio podcast series, and in today's special program we will talk to Prof. R.K. Selot ji, Superannuated Distinguished Faculty of Delhi College of Engineering!
Prof. R.K. Selot ji, along with specializing in civil engineering, has held many important government positions in the country such as Deputy Director of Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, Honorary Secretary of The Institution of Engineers, MP. Apart from this, Prof. R.K. Selot ji has also held the post of Principal of Madhav Institute, Institute of Technology and Management, Gurgaon.
He has also been the subject expert for selection of Engineers/Faculty/Scientists for organizations like UPSC, DRDO, NIDC, Delhi University, Jiwaji University.
Prof. R.K. Selot ji worked as a professor of civil engineering at Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) from 1977 to March 1991 and he has seen the golden history of Delhi College of Engineering very closely. Today we would like to know from Prof. R.K. Selot ji how was the journey of DCE from Kashmiri Gate Campus to the new expanded campus of DCE at Bawana Road, what were the challenges at that time, what were the conditions around the new campus when the foundation of the new campus was laid.
