Atif is not just a singer, he is a better artist. Because he makes original songs and original indie music also. He writes and composes his original melodies, songs himself and sings them too. That makes him an artiste and a complete package. Plus his technique has drastically improved over the years. And he introduced sufi aesthetic a new genre of music last year in indie scene in pakistan. He is always experimenting, making original music, and man is a frickin legend.

Atif Aslam is my favourite singer since childhood. I grew up listening to his songs! The main fact is, Atif isn't a trained singer! And music is a kind of art which needs a lot of training/practice. So in my opinion, aajtak Atif ne jitne b gaane gaaye hain, n jitne improvement hue hain unke singing style mein, unhone khudse explore kiya hai bcz Insaan apni mistake se sikhta hai n try karta hai taki aage Better perform kar sake :) I really miss his presence in Bollywood. 5:58 pachtaoge was originally sung by atif aslam in his authentic voice. The song was all set to reliase but was shelved at very last moment due to some onging boycott of pakistani artists. arijit recorded it in the end. so yeah the orignal voice of songs like pachtaoge or chaashni or enna sona kyu rab ne bnaya and other 16 bollywood songs was atif. the songs got shelved due to ban on pak artists by bjp. but the great atif never raised a voice when all his hardwork went to vain. Thats why I love ATIF. He is as great a human as a singer

I too feel atif has improved alot, listening some of his live, i felt like abhijeet commented right about him. But now he has improved alot. But the songs he choose are awesome.
abhijeet was just pure jealous, atif was young and rough back then but still he became a sensation with his natural ability, then after training and experience, he is a veteran seasoned singer.

It's simple. All have their one genre where they shine. Atif aslam has a polished technique. I love his fast vibrato and powerful chest voice. Jubin Nautiyal is an average singer. He just sings with breathy tone in all the song
@@gentlekannada Jubin Nautiyal songs have just two things. His over breathy tone sometimes it feels as if he's singing a lullaby. Second is the excessive reverb they put on his voice in studio.

Everything aside, Atif Aslam is a legend and legends should be respected. He shouldn't even be compared to these others. And no doubt he has one of the best voices ever.
The speciality about all the singers mentioned in the video is that they connect to the audience because of the feel they inject in a song... they aren't highly technical in their singing method and tend to focus more on the feel and vibe...which as a practising musician and a music listener, I like..... Might not be the case with you.. But yeah, for me it works... it impacts me better than highly technically sound singers..

I think Atif Aslam's songs in Coke Studio are better than Bollywood, he is known in Bollywood only as a romantic singer and now there's no composition suitable for his voice, but he has a lot of good songs in Coke Studio, even earlier songs. Atif Aslam is my favourite singer since childhood. I grew up listening to his songs! The main fact is, Atif isn't a trained singer! And music is a kind of art which needs a lot of training/practice. So in my opinion, aajtak Atif ne jitne b gaane gaaye hain, n jitne improvement hue hain unke singing style mein, unhone khudse explore kiya hai bcz Insaan apni mistake se sikhta hai n try karta hai taki aage Better perform kar sake :) I really miss his presence in Bollywood. I think Atif Aslam's songs in Coke Studio are better than Bollywood, he is known in Bollywood only as a romantic singer and now there's no composition suitable for his voice, but he has a lot of good songs in Coke Studio, even earlier songs. But he has sung a lot of different kind of songs in season 12, and yes I agree with you, Atif has improved a lot now.
