As the counting for Lok Sabha Election 2024 comes to an end, here's a list of big winners and losers. PM Narendra Modi has defeated opposition Congress Party candidate Ajay Rai in the Varanasi seat. In Gujarat state's Gandhinagar, BJP’s Amit Shah has defeated Congress party candidate Sonal Patel. Congress party’s Rahul Gandhi has won from both Rae Bareli and Wayanad seats, while Shashi Tharoor won from Thiruvananthapuram. In Thrissur, BJP’s Suresh Gopi has defeated LDF’s VS Sunil Kumar. In Himachal Pradesh state's Mandi constituency, BJP's Kangana Ranaut has defeated Congress’ Vikramaditya. In Big upsets, BJP's Smriti Irani has lost the Amethi seat to Congress party’s Kishori Lal Sharma. In Hassan, JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna lost to Congress party’s Shreyas M Patel. Irani deserved it more than anyone. It proves arrogance and over confidence can never get one anywhere, she lost for the same reason Rahul Gandhi lost in 2019. And she didn't learn anything from others mistakes, now let her learn from her own.

A win is a win, no matter by what margin. In cricket also a team sometimes wins by one run or one wicket and sometimes they win by over a hundred runs or many wickets. One thing that is commendable is the transparency of the Election Comission which is beyond the points youre mentioning and the reason to compare it with Banana Republic of USA is because in States the voter fraud is rampant and the vote counting is also opaque unlike in India where political party agents are present and everything is under CCTV suveilence.
