I disagree. Well-trained operatives don't push like that recklessly. It's a single tunnel space and the moment they decided to traverse, almost guarantee to get shot out in the open. It's a stupid tactics. Not to mention the terrorists have a visual confirmation that he's a lone wolf. The primary objective of the terrorists would be to delay so the bomb will be secured. They didn't even have to push.

Thank you! This short relies on lots of animation sequences from various Call of Duty games, carefully extracted, directed and stitched together. Sounds easy, but not quite. Took me actually about 5-6 months of on and off production. Under other circumstances, I could have done it in a month or two.
Yes! There was basically Deep Lore™ planned, as I initially wanted to make a series. But I had to scale it down to just a short, so DEM is just one of those things that remained.

The camera angles on this were fantastic. The moment the "termination protocol" was carried out and it cut to a camera point back at him from the side of his barrel was wonderful as were the shots showing him moving up the train. What a great short!

Holy shit! This is way too fucking underrated! The Voice acting, it gives so much personality to the soldiers in this video and it isn't just mindless bad guy doesn't give a fuck type shit. The animation is flawless. Sound Effects. VISUALS! Honestly you and TheParryGod are my favorite S2FM animators now man.

Y'know, as amazing as this short is for what, as best I can tell, was mostly a solo project- the plot took me right back to Dirty Bomb, the game, and its metro map. Also I really like your titles. Succinct, evocative but without spoilers. Okay but seriously, fantastic. Incredible draw for how "little" is shown thanks to great direction and sound, at least it drew me in so well I want to ask loads of questions. What's the infection? What are those death trains? Was this a suicide mission, or was he to return to base if he'd been uncontaminated? Can he stop the train? Clearly it's under remote control currently, how could he get off otherwise? What about the terrorists, were they planning on staying until detonation? They'd definitely die, then. That ogive does not look like a biocontaminant canister or radioactive dirty bomb, it's got a Nuclear danger logo and looks like a straight up HE warhead. Those suits weren't protecting them from that. What about those barrels? They look related to the vapors smoking the wagons. They're everywhere- two as he walks up, one near their cover, three more by the bomb. We almost get a clean shot at the label at 0:43, it looks like it reads "ATD - 6821 // DES. ZONE 2". There's a red button on top, but I can't see anything like a biohazard warning. Either way those things were definitely brought inside the train- infestation spread? That can't be easy to manage, the logistics for the oxygen canisters alone would be a tremendous, and full-body protective gear can't be cheap. Do they have countermeasures? His visor's busted, but respiration could be intact. Is skin contact already deadly? Three stages imply some escalation of the symptom. 5% at stage 3 is really bad, but he's freshly exposed, so stage 1 at most. Could he make it with medical attention? Is he from the same outfit as the hazmat in Face reveal? Who were those guys behind the glass? All that to say, yeah I got quite into it. Amazing job, and best of luck with whatever you're on to now!

I love the lack of plot armor within this, it shows that our protagonist here can take damage, and isnt impervious to rounds like the mando, while mando has an excuse, he should still feel some form of kinetic energy from the blaster bolts, and its the opposite here when the protagonists visor gets broken
