Blake - It’s definitely a beautiful combination and it definitely works!
We moved from a current generation 23LSV to the new Ri245. We don’t have kids. Here’s the five things we like about the Ri vs a modern wake boat at a similar price point:
1. The ride is a world apart. Deep V vs a flat bottom is an incredible improvement.
2. Fit and finish of the interior is at a whole different level on the Ri. No more spots caused by just plain water.
3. The Ri hull is built to take a beating that the water and weather can dish out. The other would sound like it was going to break going over a 2’ -3’ wave.
4. The Ri is quiet and efficient- not straining while surfing. It’s not dragging a wedge through the water to make up for less displacement.
5. The wave isn’t just more adjustable. It’s got more push further back and further out. The hull also flattens out the chop for a better surfing experience.
We also like the high freeboard 😁
