    the inclusion of gilded goose instead of any other 1 mana dorks is neat, I respect that.

    • @GrazzetMTG
      @GrazzetMTG  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, Gilded Goose is quite useful in this deck just to enable our commander that extra bit early, get more artifact tokens in play if we need them, and fixes our mana for any color if we're forced to hardcast our opponents spells - ultimately giving us quite a bit of mileage for a 1 drop.

    Your decks are amazing Grazzet, people love playing against them because they are powerful while using budget and unexpected cards. I will definitely make this deck since I love playing this colors. I would love to see what kind of deck can you do with Drana and Linvala, Hidetsugu and Kairi and/or Omnath, locust of all. Thanks your your great content and have a nice day.

    I love this deck, such a unique concept and it's hilarious to see a deck running cards like Lantern of Insight or Expel from Orazca.
    A lot of people bought the Tinker Time precon and changed it to be led by R&R, but this deck is purpose built for them. I'm certainly tempted to build this deck from scratch, although I have a few other of your decks I'm building at the moment so it will need to wait for now.

    • @GrazzetMTG
      @GrazzetMTG  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you enjoyed it! Personally, I enjoy the opportunity to give some niche or lesser used cards a home and this seemed like the perfect place for a lot of weird, top deck manipulating entries.
      Personally, I think swapping out Gimbal, Gremlin Prodigy for Rashmi and Ragavan in Tinker Time may not be the best idea - I mean, it will still work, but they need a bit more to get going than Rashmi and Ragava (in my opinion) for I think Gimbal, Gremlin Prodigy should stay as the headliner in that build.

    • @Magnusovich
      @Magnusovich ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GrazzetMTG The content I've seen where they optimise the deck from Rashmi and Ragavan do include a lot of the cards you have here, but they feel like less of an "upgrade" and more of a "phase 1" to transition the deck into a proper Rashmi and Ragavan deck. Something your build here skips by building the deck from the ground up.
      Anyway, I've ranted enough about that, I do appreciate that your precon upgrades are focused on the face commander (even if there are more "optimal" choices like the Necron precon and its alternate commander Imotekh) and you then can give an alt commander a deck for themselves to shine.

  • @davidayriyan6544
    @davidayriyan6544 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Really like this deck! Definitely think you optimized the commander's potential! What do you think about possibly adding Bootleggers Stash as well as Rain of Riches to take advantage of the treasure you'll be making?

    I love the idea of Wondrous Crucible. Guarantees we cast a spell each turn. And protects our permanents with Ward 2.

    • @GrazzetMTG
      @GrazzetMTG  ปีที่แล้ว

      And interesting suggestion to be sure - I can see it as a top end that can get us even more spells into play for free (this time from our deck) but the issue is that the card it casts is random and we have no real way to take advantage of the self mill it provides in this build. The soft protection is a nice bonus though, so I suppose I would say run it by preference and see how it goes.

  • @odditiescollector4540
    @odditiescollector4540 ปีที่แล้ว

    The way you have built the deck is much similar to how i run my haldan and pako.
    Temporal spring is a sorcery speed card that puts a permanent on top of an opponent's library so if you can cast it at flash speed before your turn you can set up something to get taken by rashmi

    • @GrazzetMTG
      @GrazzetMTG  ปีที่แล้ว

      Temporal Spring, and by extension other sorcery speed topdeck setup, would be decent inclusions if we had more ways to flash them out, but on this budget sadly that wasn't going to happen. Still, if we're running cards like Alchemist's Refuge, Vedalken Orrery, etc, these could be solid inclusions.

    • @odditiescollector4540
      @odditiescollector4540 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GrazzetMTG am i right in assuming you are also including cards that say you "may cast sorcery spells as though they had flash" such as hypersonic dragon in your statement and not simply all your things have flash that leyline of anticipation gives?

    Mmmm... monke. Master Oogway's wisdom aside, amazing deck as always! Gotta say, compared to all the other Steal Spells From Enemy Deck Tops Decks, which I now name SSFEDT decks for simplicity, this one's flavour is unusually spicy. Big fan, even if I am biased againt The Monkey That Stole Modern. Also HOLY SHIT, ARE THEY FINALLY REPRINTING DOCKSIDE?!
    Also it looks like Ayara won the previous poll... well that's a bummer, speaking as a Heliod fan. Anyways, my vote now goes for the Azorius FlashFlying duo, since the gimmick condition is very funky yet very Azorius.
