- Ever since the release of QSS Restoration, I’ve been interested in giving Unleashed physics a spin. The freestyle drift and stomp momentum makes way for fast movement options that make courses like this even more fun, and the Unleashed HUD is also pretty convenient for gauging speed. Gotta be fast and precise with the inputs to make this route work, and I found that out the hard way as usual. Just a recreational run though, simply testing out some mods so enjoy the boot scoots o/

The Level design of this Mod is so Amazing, definitely fits right in with the Rest of the Gens Levels.

I love speedruns of custom levels like this. it's so cool to see tactics on levels like this since it's all new to me that you can beat them like that
Glad you like whatcha see, this level mod in particular is a pretty fun course with a buncha opportunities to get creative with movement options
Love the quills twiching in the wind, don't think unleashed had that but it shows what's missing from unleashed.

Already had a few strokes just tryna clear a basic run, but if I ever feel like torturing myself again then I can see a buncha time save potential with some M-speed thrown into the mix
When Frontiers comes out you can do speedruning of cyberspace!

Thanks king! Point taken by the way, had I been running Unleashed lately I probably would’ve mixed up the air boost with the homing attack but the muscle memory still couldn’t save me from missing a buncha targets anyway haha

Nice to see you are trying HUD mods! I do wish there was a Rise of Lyric HUD mod. did you ever play that game? Also now that you tried Unleashed-esque physics in Generations, which do you like more? I'm personally a fan of the tighter Generations controls with QSS and the straight line drift mod, but if I had to choose I might say Generations. I'm curious to know what you think, though.
A Rise of Lyric hud would be a first, and I still have yet to try that game for myself. As for physics, it’s cool how Unleashed rewards higher speed for collecting more rings, and the QSS mod makes both styles run even smoother. Though there are certain courses that work better with Gens physics and drifts so it’s hard to choose since they’re both pretty based
@@SonicTeamHero 100% agree with u. I'll warn u off the bat with Rise of Lyric that it's not a mainline game, so it doesn't focus on speed. Primarily it's about team interactions and semi-open zone gameplay, with some mach-speed style sections and pretty incredible combat segments. It's more like crash bandicoot than most Sonic games so if that's ur thing, then go for it lol
What differences does the Unleashed Physics make in using it with the QSS Restoration Mod? I tried it without the Unleashed Physics and with just that plus the Horizontal Velocity Stomp Code and you can still seem to do it fine. Great run btw.
Apparently the Unleashed Physics scales Sonic’s speed up as more rings are collected. So Sonic’s base speed is a bit lower than in Generations, but after collecting 100-200 rings his base speed gradually surpasses it like in Unleashed

What graphics settings do you use before entering the game on Steam? configure option, I think there are special settings to reduce the input lag in this game
I see some problems such as blast off some times it doesn't work for me and also in fast places some buttons don't work
@@M34BBK I have most of my configuration set to default; 1920x1080p, no antialiasing, widescreen, high shadow quality, high reflection quality, V-sync enabled. I’ve encountered plenty of game crashes and similar cases that you described, though I have yet to find a solution to that;;

The link to the download page is in the description, just gotta move the mod folder into Sonic Generations’ game folder and run it through Hedge Mod Manager
