James, thank you for this video. I have the same issue with my scope (no vertical adjustment) and came here to see if I could diy fix it. I am sorry that your reticule broke but the information you give is timeless. I’ll give this a go this weekend. Thanks again from North Carolina.

Thanking you for the video, a lot of patience and a lot of logic in the disassembly, but well, the spring is bisector of the two rise and drift adjustments, the cross is solved by gluing a woman's hair with acrylic glue, well I have learned that, without practice that Yes, but the sight you took apart is quite simple, thank God, hahahaha

Sorry it broke on ya, but the video was very helpful. Had the same problem with the Elevation Adjustment, knowing how to take it apart made all the difference :) Thanks

G'day from Australia and thanks for taking the time to make this video - One of my scopes has recently suffered the same problem (AEON 6-24x50 SF) with the windage and elevation suddenly going way off centre - I'm now betting it's that turret spring that has somehow gone amiss - Only difference with min it's a Side Focus not an Adjustable Objective - Oh well l guess l might as well strip it down too as l've certainly got nothing to lose by trying - Cheers

Interesting. I had a scope break the other day. Couldn’t figure out how the get the eye piece out/off so finally I cut it off to see how it all went together. Wish I had the skills to make my own. I have different tastes than anyone making scopes today
