A Dad who provides for them (not only cream for breakfast, but a safe place to rest when they were tired). He agreed to get them to Paris and he could have done that and then said "OK, I got you to Paris. I kept my end of our deal. I'm done. He was a kind and chivalrous gentleman and escorted them all the way home. Yes he was a bit shocked, initially, when he found the beautiful Duchess and then realized she came with 3 kids. But he loves them and protects them as a real father would. They aren't an unwanted inconvenience.
Absolutely. He went out in the storm, trying to find Duchess and the kids when they were abducted. (AFTER BEING DRUGGED, no less) He was the one who alerted O'Malley that Duchess and the kittens were in trouble when Edgar attacked them. He BRAVELY walked into a group of alley cats to get them help. He unlocked the box, freeing Duchess. Absolutely a hero.
See what's so great about O'Malley is that he's thrown by the kids for about a second, then he adjusts. Believe it or not, this is very realistic to how cats actually act. Kittens are kittens. They don't care where they come from.
Honestly, one of my favorite parts of this movie is how the dogs hear Edgar coming, know nothing about what he’s doing, and simply decide they’re going to jump him and take his stuff
When I was little and our family would watch The Aristocats, I forced them to play the movie three times in a row because I just loved the movie so much. While my favorite Disney movie has changed to Tarzan, the Aristocats will always have a special place in my ❤😊

OMG! This was so much fun. Back in the days before home video, they released this as an album and I was 7 years old and it was my favorite album. I love what you did with the swan sisters. The same women who did the voices for the swan sisters play the Pigeon Sisters in 1968 The Odd Couple.

I've always loved this movie, it doesn't get the credit it deserves. The racial issues with it were that Scat Cat and his Gang were all racial stereotypes. We had the Asian cat, the Italian cat, the Mexican cat, and the Russian cat. I loved those characters as a kid and I still do, but I can see the Yikes moments that they bring. You should react to The Emperor's New Groove, it was hilarious. A little known gem.

I loved this film when i was little and still do. Though its really weird to listen to it in another langauge xD. Im getting used to watching old Disney classics in english, but there were alot of sentences that were different from what i know. Gues they changed that when they translated the film in my langauge ... like the "turn me on" part :).. or Thomas O'Malley's song etc. When i was a little girl, i knew what Edgar did was bad. But watching it now.. I feel sooo bad for Madame... You steal the cats from an old lady, her baby's/ kids/friends, without them she is incredibly lonely. They are her everything. My heart really hurted for her during the film. And its also straight up animal abuse. How dare you do that to those cats. ugh. I love the handdrawn style, the music and their voices. (The record thingy, whatever you call it, is inside a small old tv. So it would literally take me back to my youth). Im from the Netherlands, so i listened to in Dutch. The fun part is that some voices sound almost the same as the english ones. Like Thomas O'Malley, its like it didnt change. Only the language. Pretty cool.

I highly recommend you watch Disney's Robin Hood from 1973. This move and that one share a lot of the same voice actors. Like the voice actor for Thomas O'Malley voices Little John, the voice of the bloodhound also voices the sheriff, and the mouse voices Friar Tuck. I don't know if there are any others.
Tbh this is one of the only Disney classics I don't cringe at LOL I think the designs were super cute, and the old lady in the movie is not evil or ugly either, she's actually sweet and really pretty. Those two geese are totally adorable tho! My favorites, they're such *ICONS!* also I don't know any Chinese person who got offended at the cat with the chopsticks, I'm glad they put the warning tho
Why did madame leave everything to her cats anyway? What are her cats gonna do with that? They’re not people. They can’t own anything. But even if the cats inherit first, Edgar would still be living a luxury life since he’d be taking care of the cats so that cat napping was pointless. And he’s not completely evil, cuz in the beginning he was very likable until he cat napped the cats.

I think all the alley cats are stereotypical racist types of the time this movie was made. Asian, Black, Hispanic and Russian plus the weird hippie type cat. It still is a fabulous movie tho. I absolutely ADORE Marie! ❤
As to my favorite Disney movie, The Great Mouse Detective. Though I watched this one a bit when I was young too. Now with a further look back on it I don't even have to look up the credits to tell that Duchess is one of the Gabor sisters, that Hungarian accent is unmistakable if you know it, especially with the "dahling" bit.
I had the aristo cats on caset when I was a little girl. One day when I was around 13 I accidentally stepped on it and broke the tape 😢and hadn't seen the movie again until we got Disney+.😂
This is a later "classic" Disney film... when the animation was starting to suffer due to budget cutbacks, and the use of a new Xerox process as a shortcut for the inking. Still good though, but a bit rougher around the edges.

I highly recommend you watch Disney's Robin Hood from 1973. This move and that one share a lot of the same voice actors. Like the voice actor for Thomas O'Malley voices Little John, the voice of the bloodhound also voices the sheriff, and the mouse voices Friar Tuck. I don't know if there are any others.

Tbh this is one of the only Disney classics I don't cringe at LOL I think the designs were super cute, and the old lady in the movie is not evil or ugly either, she's actually sweet and really pretty. Those two geese are totally adorable tho! My favorites, they're such *ICONS!*

Why did madame leave everything to her cats anyway? What are her cats gonna do with that? They’re not people. They can’t own anything. But even if the cats inherit first, Edgar would still be living a luxury life since he’d be taking care of the cats so that cat napping was pointless. And he’s not completely evil, cuz in the beginning he was very likable until he cat napped the cats.
My favorite movie out of all it probably be this Movie😂I always have a thing for cats🐱 and I watched it a lot when I was a kid so it’s literally an all-time favorite of mine. I remember every line from every song in this movie it would be literally the best movie for me, but you know now that it’s like a little bit coming up and getting old my favorite movie is Ratatouille

This was my moive when I was a kid. I come from a family of 5. I'm the only girl and I have 2 little brothers(sound familiar🤔) my mom was definitely Dutchess. And my dad was and is still as slick and sweet talking as Thomas😂💕 my personal moto for life is Marie's line, "A lady does not start a fight, but they can finish them." I may be a girl but that doesn't mean I don't know how to throw drown like any other man🔥
I think all the alley cats are stereotypical racist types of the time this movie was made. Asian, Black, Hispanic and Russian plus the weird hippie type cat. It still is a fabulous movie tho. I absolutely ADORE Marie! ❤

As to my favorite Disney movie, The Great Mouse Detective. Though I watched this one a bit when I was young too. Now with a further look back on it I don't even have to look up the credits to tell that Duchess is one of the Gabor sisters, that Hungarian accent is unmistakable if you know it, especially with the "dahling" bit.
I had the aristo cats on caset when I was a little girl.
One day when I was around 13 I accidentally stepped on it and broke the tape 😢and hadn't seen the movie again until we got Disney+.😂

This is a later "classic" Disney film... when the animation was starting to suffer due to budget cutbacks, and the use of a new Xerox process as a shortcut for the inking. Still good though, but a bit rougher around the edges.
