Do you have to have the software constantly running in the background for the features to work? (like voicemeeter) or can you exit the software and all your settings save onto the onboard memory?

I like the connect 6, didn’t know they were going to drop a 2 seems to be missing some features from the 6
The Connect 2 has good hardware, but it lacks so many features that I opted for the Connect 6 instead.

The software doesn't need to be running.
