I remember the day that the FF14 V1.0 servers went down and we got the ARR trailer playing we all stood looking into the sky, it’s nice that we got a legacy tattoo on our characters in ARR
@@DizzieDeeOnTH-cam well i played the MMO FFXI which was their 1st MMO for like 13 years before i quit and that was when FFXIV was going into beta and at that time i was kinda used to alot of the systems as they tried to go with FFXI but more modern look, but i believed in the game which is why i stuck with it.
If Distant Worlds is ever in your area Susan Calloway performs with them sometimes, got to hear her live back in October when it happened to be in my city.
Check out the Flames of Truth version of the trailer. The last few minutes of it show what happened with Louisioux and Bahamut immediately after he teleported the WoL to the future.
I watched this on steam after playing ff7 and 9 not knowing anything about ff14 and bought it instantly and subbed straight away 2500 hours later and Im watch reactions to this video , what a trailer! what a game|!
I somehow missed the release of 1.0 but when I saw this trailer for 2.0 I immediately knew I was going to play this game. I keep my peace when people talk about the Shb and EW trailers being the best, but I don't think anything will top how this ARR trailer impacted me personally and it will probably always mean the most to me. I came from WoW and learned how to MMO in Cataclysm and I enjoyed that very much, but the contrast here between Bahamut and Deathwing left me speechless. I've seen countless reactions and every time I still get goosebumps.
I'm about halfway through Stormblood now and it's so darn good so far. Definitely one of my favourite games of all time. I can't wait for Shadowbringers and Endwalker

Work/family life have been insane. I truly enjoyed your review of this FF XIV trailer. I recently got a bonus at work...and may finally be able to acquire my PS5. I will certainly be adding some FF titles to my library. Hoping YOU are well. One thing that can always be said for these recent FF related titles...the graphics are STUNNING. Peace.

10-ish years of incredible music by Soken and Friends, yet Answers will always hit me in the soul.
If anything, it hits even harder nowadays, after Endwalker.
Answers is from 1.0, so "pre-Soken" so to say. We can probably thank Nabuo Uematsu for the song.

There is a specific part in Endwalker where this song plays and I cry ugly tears every time I hear it now.
I can't wait to find out what happens. So far I'm around halfway through StormBlood and it's amazing!

Susan Calloways superpower, her voice! when she starts singing, she can make anyone cry lol, her voice is out of this world.
I watched her live a month ago and I bawled, shes such a lovely lady and a fantastic musician
