Had this myself, always clean and sanitise my plastic buckets, swapped them with stainless steel and had very few issues since. I genuinely think the plastic started to fail. Keep going chaps 🍺
Glad it's not just me! I'm on a run of sub par beers. Just ordered a new brew bucket as that solved it for me last time. Keep up the good work, happens to all home brewers at some point.
Another great video guys - really look forward to these every couple of weeks. New extract kit on the market which looks interesting - Mangrove Jack’s Craft Series Cold IPA. Perhaps worth a go?
Think a lot of us are having trouble with the temperature this summer. I have done to repeat brews and have had the same results as you not tasting the same as before. Good review again boys
Hi chaps it’s so disheartening when you get a bad brew 😭 I would say if you don’t have a brew fridge for temp control then probably need a new bucket or better still try a pressure fermenter they are fantastic and not expensive when you think what the average price of a beer kit is now. A lot of kits are highly hopped and the chance of getting oxygenate could ruin the lot. If there is no beer to review for a bit maybe you could review some of our beers and judge on the channel plus free beer for you 😂 enjoy the festival 👍cheers 🍻
Ya got to raise the hands once. Stick at it, Form is form and goes up and down. I had a similar issue, had 4 in a row average at best. I clean and sanitised but was not using brewery wash. Put that through fermenters, kegs and brew lines. Then starsan it worked wonders. Figured I had a bug somewhere. Solider on DP
Are you using temperature control when you ferment your beers? I found it a game-changer. Fingers crossed you crack the problem. Yeast starters also improved my beer as did water treatment.
Eyup lads.... if it's not temperature control, then you may have a dodgy brew bucket... looking at the amount of foam on that first one and you saying sour and dry.... that's pointing at infection to me. Pop a hydrometer in and see what the reading is, if it's gone to 1.000 then something else is at work. New bucket time.
Thanks for another great session, don't give up.....
Another great video👍
Don't give up - back to basics and try again
I would say temperature control too. Especially with our weather. Please keep going, your videos are amazing
Great review as usual guys, deffo brewing the disco parrot. I've just brewed the Dark Rock Birra Italia which got the 👍 from my friends. 🍻 Take care

thanks guys, my temperature is off as I can heat a brew but I cant cool, british summertime is lovely but deadly for beer, cheers 🍻
Try that ale out of the keg. It might be your beer tap or the lines.
