I will always remember thoes great Saturday afternoon horror movie shows. It still brings me back.
I grew up in a small town Called West Monroe, NY. It is due East of Parish, NY off of Rt. 69 as you drive twards West Amboy, NY. Anyway, as you drove East on Rt. 69 just past Co. RT. 11, there was an old Victorian style home, all by itself on the south side of the road on top of a steep hill. From a distance that house was so creepy looking, identical to the model on MMM. At least I thought it did. The house was there in the 70s, and 80s. I have no idea if it is still there now or not.
Thanks so much for the memories.

BRILLIANT! I can't wait to see the finished film! (That music STILL goes straight to my spine.)

I took a TV and studio acting summer class at OCC in 93. The guy that used to do the creepy voice to the intro of Monster Matinee was in our class. He was very cool.

I watched this show in the mid to late 1970s.

I was at Salty Sam's Super Saturday when I was in first grade, and we got to see the model. It completely deflated my fears of the afternoon horror movies, and I've never had any interest in the genre since!
