Young man, that is one of the prettiest tools I have ever seen. Your craftsmanship is impeccable. Wow, great job on your creation. Thank you for your time sir.
Dude, this video is awesome. You are amazing to watch, and the humor is phenomenal. Do you have a patreon account? If so, I will donate to help get you a drill press or some carving gouges!
This is amazing! A tool almost completely unnecessarily complex, but it still works exactly as you intended. The "meat tenderizer" part made my sides hurt from laughing! Great job and keep up the good work. I could watch your videos all day!
Nick Mead thanks! It does work as intended, and by that I mean, I literally have to hold the hammer with both hands just to get it accurately in the right position, which kind of defeats the purpose. But it's still fun though.
I enjoy your videos. As a Welder I have a variety of what we call a third hand to hold things in position. But I'm almost finished with a new one just for fun. I'm beating and shaping 2" copper pipe into the shape of my own hand at half scale. It's a lot more difficult than I originally expected it but turning out really well. I can't help but giggle at the fun I'll have with it when finished with my apprentices. 🤣 I have a whole shelf of practical ones. This one is just because it's funny. All the old timers at our shop collects something and makes custom tools as well. 😀👍
Absolutely fantastic, as usual, your video makes my day. I love the combination of your amazing talent, unique style, and that fantastic sense of whimsy.
Amazing the way you were able to get such depth with the shading using the stain. Spectacular!!! I need to make multiple hands as 2 never seem to be enough for me..
Fantastic work, as always. You're easily one of my favorite youtubers. In blacksmithing we would call this a "set tool", or possibly a "set punch" though the interchangeable heads would, to me, make it the more generic of the two terms.
Alexander Hinman Thanks! That's good to know! I initially intended to make a 16 c. inspired war hammer but brass is too soft, so Iv'e decided to add a steel tip. that is when the punches idea came, so I'll pretend is if the name is still valid, but you're absolutely right.
Have you seen this? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/32/Ms.Thott.290.2%C2%BA_079r.jpg The inked illustration on the left hand side sadly doesn't show the whole hammer, but look at the sketch on the right hand side. Uri, you are such a delight! You are the best thing on TH-cam right now, and are so inspiring. Please continue to make videos and weirdly wonderful things!
I have noticed you using you flat chisel with the bevel away from the wood, if you flip the chisel over, you will find you have beau coup more control over the depth of cut. The bevel rides on the material and prevents the chisel from following the grain of the wood. Your work is superb, thanks for sharing.
Uri, you are amazing! I enjoyed this video very much. The craftsmanship, the music, your sense of humor with the second hand. All around just a wonderful idea. You are quite the artist!!! I really love it that you turn on the camera and slide into view...lol
Brilliant work as always Uri, I really enjoy your HANDy work 😀 I really like that little hand, it really compliments the piece beautifully. Loved the chicken gag at the end too 👌 Keep up the good work 👍
What a fun video, you have a great sense of humour which really helps to make you enjoy a tutorial, and not boring like some can be, so thanks for the unusual ideas. Regards from John in England.
love it ! love it! love it! so much fun to make and fun to watch! and funny too! that's probably some thing Queen Victorya has once used as a back scratcher!
I just found your channel a few days ago, and every video has been amazing, funny, informative, and your creations have confused and impressed me over and over again!
Everytime I get notified that you posted a new video I don't know what to expect, but every single time it's absolutely worth it! You'll get far with your content and amazing talent.
Great video! Awesome creation! I really love watching you do the engraving and, this video was no exception. I'm not sure how practical this thing is, but who cares?!? It looks like it was fun to make and I'm sure fun to have around. Thanks for sharing your creative work!
I wasn't sure about subscribing at first, because a lot of very popular channels have only one or two videos, but your channel seems to have a decent amount of content and you stuff is really good. I subscribed, of course
Glorious! I have an idea; drill holes/channels into the sleeve in which you can place the punches. That way you can pull the different bits from the sleeve. Not sure if they would stay in place but if the diameter of the holes is right they probably will.
So glad there is room in the world for such beautiful nonsense
This comment put a giant smile on my face. Well said.
Of course! Without nonsense, nothing would make normal sense!
sometimes I wonder if we really have room or not. I think we're actually in debt with time.
Make time, friend.
@@michaellu1147 „time“ only exist in our brain. Its a complex subject but I'm afraid I don't have any idea how to explain it to you.
Talent + "i'm bored today" = this thing
I really hope that in a couple of hundred years, archaeologists find the things you make and can only scratch their heads.
Tbh they'll probably just watch this video if the internet doesnt die.
Grant Morgan internet die? maybe in a thousand years..
Almost any video has this comment 🥱
"So I decided to scrap it and start all over again."
The words of a true craftsman
I love how you aren't limited to any one particular skill. It makes your projects so unique and inspires me to learn as many skills as i can.
You need to make another hand holding a hammer to go with this
hand clutching a rock!
A hand holding hammer holding a hand holding hammer.
Just a fist!

Dude.....wtf
When people say, "They don't make things like they used to." there haven't seen Uri's work.
No, Uri also doesn’t make things like they used to. He’s got his whole own type of thing going on
This is amazing! A tool almost completely unnecessarily complex, but it still works exactly as you intended. The "meat tenderizer" part made my sides hurt from laughing! Great job and keep up the good work. I could watch your videos all day!

Uri, your Hand Holding Stake Punch looks like something used in ceremonial rites of a secret society, very whimsical and wonderful.
The vision, craftsmanship, and humour, shown in this video add up to genius. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the drumstick smasher and the termite blue plate special! Beautiful hand tool!
I subscribed for 3 reasons;
1. Good humour
2. Good builds
3. Those beautiful slides
This is my favorite outro in the history of TH-cam. Please don't stop making wonderful things for us.
Nice work. You inspired me to get into metal carving thanks for the. Video
The amount of work you put into your jokes is baffling

Very well thought out and executed. The rapier grip is a nice touch.

Gloves hate details
Those are what're called "apprentice marks"
Each project is more imaginative than the last! I love it!!!

You are nothing short of spectacular. Your drumstick is wonderful, as is your embellishment carved into the face of your work.
You have unbelievable carving skills! Your work could be in a museum if it was made 100 years ago ;)
Once again a completely unique art tool.
Fantastic work, as always. You're easily one of my favorite youtubers.

There is no getting tired of any of his videos.
Really easy to get really smal details on limewood, with the right tools that is :)
