I think u have to react to all others countries who been in the contest before: Turkey, Slovakia, Monaco, Marocco, Andorra, Bosnia, Hungary, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Yugoslavia and even (Serbia and Montenegro as one state) i know its a lot but every country deserve to be mantion at least :) And for example Slovakia, Andorra, Marocco or SerbiaMontenegro had only a few entries. About Malta : my favorites are 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019,2020 Still 2019 was the best one 4 me
Chiara completely defeated the arguments made against ESC back in 2005...She came 2nd with a ballad in the 100% Televoting era as a country with no neighbours. It was an excellent song and she deserved the great result :)
back then televoting was done during the performances, not after the last one which changes the whole dynamic, now a ballad needs a Salvador Sobral kind of UFO to win.

Malta is such a unique country, they always extremely overrated by juries (they could've been qualifying every time since 2010 if there was only jury voting) and extremely underrated by televoters (the opposite, they was in top 10 by the televoting only in 2013, 2016 and 2019), so overall they are always in the middle. All their non-qualifications only because of the lack of the public's support. Fun fact: they either stayed in the semi final or placed lower than 20th in the final by the televoting every year this decade... except 2013, they even reached the top10 by televoters! Andd I totally agree with this, for me 2013 is the best here, the song tells a very cute and absolutely not silly love story with right message and good soulful performance. And the song itself is so feel-good, people felt here.

My favourite entry from Malta is Let Me Fly by Debbie Sceri.And of course my favourite artists are Chiara and Ira Losco.I am still listening their all songs.
Sometimes looking back is really confusing cause some of the songs we heard so many times and got use to them while in Eurovision season it not always happening ! I hope Malta and destiny will bring us a banger in Eurovision 2021
