Why is Jack dressed like an American long haul trucker even though he can't drive lol?The sheer disgust on Michael's face repeatedly throughout this video is just hilarious.
Btw any Americans here. Jack's dad's reaction is the same as a lot of Brits if we ever go to States. We are completely overwhelmed by the portions, our portions are about the 1/3 of yours.
In all fairness, and I can't speak for all Americans, but a meal like that we would share with a large group of people. We also really love leftovers. It's a way to enjoy the luxury of going out to eat over the course of multiple meals.
Those portions and combinations are ridiculous even by American standards. That place is obviously a shock and awe restaurant, where people go once in a while as a novelty.
I think it's because it'd be embarrassing asking to take your leftovers home here, if they even had anything to put them in, so you'd be expecting to finish your plate. I always wonder how they make any money giving away that much food.
I've been an American all my long life and have lived all over the country. I have NEVER seen a diner like this one. Jack and Michael hit the jackpot of ridiculousness.
Jack playing Cubby Bunny by himself... hilarious. I will always be grateful to Netflix for bringing Jack's -at large special and his travels with Father to us.
Classic western films were always shown on British television - BBC 2 channel had something called The Friday Western in the 70s, 80s and 90s, where on Friday nights at 6pm, BBC 2 aired a classic western as alternative to the news shows on the other stations.
Jack I have just found these hilarious vlogs with your Dad on your travels. Fabulous! I've been in fits of laughter. What a great combination you are together. Keep them coming. X
“You were obsessed with all those weird films” “Disney films” < that made me laugh so much for some reason just cause I don’t assume Disney as “ those weird films “ 😂
My sides hurt from laughing so hard. I laugh more at Michael than anything. The moment they put the burger down, before he even said anything, and I’m already rolling.
I was feeling down and this video popped up, omw I am crying and laughing at the same time. You two made my day. More videos of you and your dad please
Jack is simply adorable & keeps me in stitches. With Father Whitehall, the father - son dynamic at its comic best, imho. I'd love to see more of Mum Hilary... She brings her own brand of class & humour. I vote for A Whitehouse Family reality show! ❤ P.S. Don't forget Winton! 🇬🇧❤🇬🇧❤🇬🇧❤
That food was amazing! The shakes a live performance! That shit would last me a whole year! I do love how the dinner was called 'little anthony's' what the hell would u get at 'big anthony's' ???
From a German's perspective who has lived in the US for over 30 years, this is absolutely hilarious!!! I am with Michael though on the Mac and cheese burger! Disgusting combo!
These 2 guys are hilarious and I enjoy watching their various appearances. It shows that the English are quite whimsical normally. Makes me wax nostalgic and miss my parents! So if anyone has their parents and or grandparents love them and let them know they're LOVED and RESPECTED !😪
The fact that I got upset seeing you in Phoenix to find out you came to my own city. To the diner I’ve been going to since my 3rd birthday. I was literally 15 minutes away for you 😭😭😭
It's very tongue in cheek humour....I love that Jack has his pedal to the metal with that trucker's gear on (pun intended). Michael sums it up with the toast and eggy bit. Love the pancakes on the dashboard as they drive away....feeling chundery! Lol!
too funny; Jack Whitehall you have no idea how much most of us relate to our parent in the same way...(I do remember tho many yrs for me..lol).thank you for cracking me up in "time of covid"....sometimes we have similar food to this in Canada although not quite as large servings...lol lol lol You and your Dad are no doubt one of the best comedy duos EVER! xoxUpper Canada...
Lol lots of parents are like that. Reminds me of the time I wanted to go on one of those giant 50 feet in the air swing things and my mum said absolutely not but when I said I was just going to go by myself she ended up coming anyway because she didn't want me to do it alone.
@@itsjemmabond 😂 Even better my grandparents & parents are British. Jack and Michael's Christmas special 'Christmas With My Father' will be streaming on Netflix from December 12th 2019: www.netflix.com/title/81060232
Love ya Jack! Sending ya pops a chrimbo card purely because I adore him
I’m so excited for this!
Perfect, my dads birthday is on the 12th.... I might claim getting to watch this with me will be his present 😂
I have absolutely loved watching the 3 seasons, Michael Whitehall is a Legend, so so funny 😂
Adore your daddy ❤️😍❤️
Jack dressed like an American trucker while he still speaks with an upperclass London accent is just the best 😂
Jack looks like the trucker (sea bass) from dumb and dumber 🤣
Jordan Wilcox He really does 😂
He’s the least funniest person ever

Lolllll
Yeah, that hurt me a little; not gonna lie. 🤣
Yes, that cut deep! I love the Whitehalls. Some of the best things on the TV at the moment.
Red Black How can you have an opinion on them if you haven’t watched them?

Why not?
“Im famished, I could eat a horse”
10 mins later.
“Well I meant for a boiled and toast, not this!”
😂🤦🏻♀️😂😂
So British and what I think of Jack's dad eating for his breakfast or his dinner. That food was excessive and the milkshakes looked disgusting.
@@vaw796 disgustingly diabetic
I’m American and I wouldn’t eat that. Way too much food and way too much sugar. We don’t all eat like we want to die a slow gluttonous death.
Or you could just split it like s normal person and not be an asshole
OMG ..my mom likes Westerns!
Jack yelling daddy in that tone isn’t something i want to hear again
It's so hard for me to get over it. I know it's a cultural and class difference, but it's still so jarring.
DADDY PLEASE!
😂😂😂
LOL! Serves him right for stuffing his face trying to upset his proper father!
Don't watch any of the travels with my father series then 😂
The relationship between father and son is just darling. I wish every kid had this with his/her dad.

Yeah if I was brought that by a waiter I’d send it back and ask for a normal burger
I love the dad , he's terrorized by food.
My favorite line from this clip hahhaa. Michael makes this show
Honestly I’m not posh I’m from the north but that burger looked bad.
“I just wanted some toast and a boiled egg” Lol How very British of you.

As a Brit living in America, I can confirm this is a realistic representation of my experiences and reactions to life here.

Jack playing Cubby Bunny by himself... hilarious. I will always be grateful to Netflix for bringing Jack's -at large special and his travels with Father to us.
The way Jack goes in on that burger with no hesitation... ...he's becoming one of US. ONE OF US!
“Uuuugh...just look at yourself” I felt that. I say that to myself in the mirror after I gorge myself at The Cheesecake Factory.
I like how Jack lifted up out of his seat to get leverage on eating that burger😂
There's something morbidly satisfying about watching Jack stuffing his face like that.
It's called passive eating🤣
As an American, the thought that British people are watching this as if it's a typical American lunch is cracking me up

Hey Jack, your old man has good taste. He likes classic American western films. Much respect to him from USA.

I’m an American and even I’m disturbed with the food that was served. 😂😂 what the heck was that burger? The shakes looked like fun though!
The shakes were by far the worst!
Molly Wells Those shakes seemed like poison for body.
I'd happily finish that burger, but those shakes looked artificial.
One of those shakes was radioactive purple. I dread to think what ingredients were in that
I was wondering "Where is Sensei Seagal when you need him?"
I just love how happy Jack's dad looks. Even if he won't say it.
Oh my god!! I can’t believe they were in Tucson and I had no idea! It’s so funny to see them in Little Anthony’s!
His dad reading into western themed stuff while Jack plays chubby bunny is EVERYTHING
Jack eating into that burger and his dad reaction 😂🤣♥️
American here. They brought out the pancakes and burger, and those are clearly the amuse bouche and hors d'oeuvre. Where's the main course?
