Hard to believe, but they come from a state that is almost entirely covered in cornfields. He keeps his voice because he what we call a Cornfed Fred. Us midwesterner are a different breed. ❤
I recognized this immediately. I had a box set of this concert when i was like 12! I dont think it was this concert but there are a couple where the drum set lifts up tilts 90• and starts spinning all while Joey(RIP) was playing an insane solo!! And as an OG fan i’ll be honest I haven’t heard the new drummer but I will try to pay attention next time I listen to their new stuff. 😊
I find this level of angry music is what calms me down from a rage. No need for bats or fists just Slipknot at a high volume and all of the rage is properly channelled. And I am at peace... Great reaction Biss!
At 2:35 , "This is the music my mom told me to stay away from" . This is the exact reason alot of metalheads check out metal music for the first time. 🤘
I was 15 in 2002 and lived in a small town, so I got this dvd the day it came out. I can't even count the times I've watched it? It's a timeless work of art. This performance remains unmatched by anyone for 24 years. Shit ain't made like it used to be!! Happy New Year, everyone. God bless.
Hey Biss! just to give you some info, The drummer in this video is Joey Jordison, who is their first and original drummer. He was replaced by Jay Weinbergm who was their second drummer and did 3 albums with them, and he was replaced recently by Eloy. ☺and yes, he hit's the hardest out of the 3 and probably that most drummers active today 😝
I don't know if they have anything like this in Germany (where you live), but in Toronto, Canada you can go to a place called a "Rage Room" where they put you into a decent sized room with old furniture, dishes, and other items to break. Then they give you a bat, crowbar, gold club, hammer, or whatever else you want and you just wreck stuff lol So if you can make the trip to Canada, you can go to a rage room and enjoy some Slipknot while you destroy all the things 😆
I watched this live in Cardiff. Same tour couple of days apart. Actually met them in Virgin megastore was the greatest experience ever. This show was insane think i was only 14 at the time aswell 🤘🤥
I've loved all the different lineup changes for Slipknot, but you're absolutely right - Eloy beats those kits like they stole from his entire family. He's an absolute monster
I turned 14 again (34 now)at Knotfest in Argentina thanks to this 🤘🏻🤯. The only problem is the adrenaline that hasn't gone down again and it's been 2 weeks now 🤣. The good thing is that Iron Maiden is coming next month.
Really enjoyed your reaction! Not too familiar with Slipknot, and I have given up trying to understand what they are saying, but I do love the energy and the talent and its fun to engage with.
I showed this to my aunt when it first came out. She is very into her Catholic faith. 😂Quickly, she called it the devils music and never looked at me the same again.😂😂😂
I would sneak to my friends house to watch to Slipknots welcome to my neighborhood vhs lol. I said to my buddy I don't know what he's saying but it s amazing.
A lot of people don't bring up the major difference the aura of slipknot has changed over the years.. Lots of the RAW scary aura they had years ago was because of the mystery behind the masks.. WHO WERE THEY.. WHAT DID THESE PEOPLE LOOK LIKE? yes we got names but we didn't see that on stage.. we saw them do insane stuff.. look up the injury list for slipknot.. and see how many times Sid and Clown got injured.. specially hurting each other on stage..
I was at a show in Detroit, and Clown was out due to a death in his family. His set up was on stage with his mask on a pole in the middle of the kit. Chris Fehn was running back and forth playing his set, and parts of Clown's. About half way through the show he fell off of his riser. They stopped the show for about 10 minutes. They came back out, and Chris continued the show with the aid of a crutch.
I'm an OG Slipknot fan, and I believe that Joey was the best drummer of his time. That being said, yeah, Eloy beats the drums like they owe him money, and I'd hate to be his drum tech lol. I would honestly say check out the entire Disasterpieces live DVD. It's intense. Joey has an amazing drum solo in it.
Corey Taylor did blow his vocal chords out he can't go that hard anymore, he had to have surgery on his voice box, if you look now at him he still has a scar on his neck from the surgery and then he made the Stone Sour song "made of scars"
This was filmed 22 years ago in 2002 at Slipknot's London, England show touring for their 'Iowa' album... It was filmed for the Slipknot concert DVD 'Disasterpieces'... featuring the late members Paul Gray (bass) and Joey Jordison (drums)... Chris Fehn (percussion), Craig '133' Jones (samples) ... have left the band recently, so the classic 9 members on stage is a treat to watch. I have Sepultura play live a few times... twice w/ drummer Eloy Casagrande, and he was incredible live for sure. His albums w/ Sepultura ('The Mediator...' ... 'Machine Messiah'... and 'Quadra') are their best w/ current vocalist Derrick Green.
Hey Bisscutie SlipknoT rocks another awesome song from them is The Blister Exists u should check out MushRoomHead they're kinda like SlipKnoT in a way id suggest songs like Solitaire Unraveling Sun Doesn't Rise Carry On Devils Be Damned Seen It All have a wonderful day Biss 💙💙💞❤️🖤❣️.
firstly a few things, If you don't mind me asking, do you have any other pokemon sweaters and is gengar your favourite pokemon, if not....what is?. and second I know I've said this before but I can't help it, I just freaking LOVE pokemon lol, I love the sweater, love the song, enjoy the video/reaction
Hi, react to a band called Crypta. The band is from Brazil and is made up entirely of women, all very talented. The band is very popular in the metal scene.
This is the music that my mother told me to stay away from....HA HA HA MEEEEE TOOOOOOOO 👿 To hell with church gospel and The oak ridge boys GIVE ME METAL 🤘😛🤘
Thanks for this reaction Biss, I loved it! I was waiting for it since your last Slipknot video, the live version of Disasterpiece with Eloy (in fact it was the first time he played with them, it was his first show). And this video you just saw is the Disasterpieces live in london 2002 DVD. Greetings from Paraguay 🇵🇾🇵🇾 Biss!
I think there is always a limit, if there isn't a limit, then the reason for things is lost. I think that in this case it goes from being music to something chaotic, it's like they say, here we make a fuss, we make the instruments scream as we please, we stop singing and start shouting, we become like children in kindergarten who start shouting like crazy. So, in that case, it's better to be stuck in city traffic, in the middle of people who are annoyed with their complaints and shouting, because the cars don't move forward, even fighting there, because it's the same experience of this musical proposal, of this style that has no style, which is like the complaint of some current singers that they are not funny. If I accept this musical style, then I would be a masochist, because I would be accepting that people don't offer you courtesy but shouting and aggression, it would be like living in the jungle. Zero musical proposal or innovation, even when he sings normal, he has a lousy voice, that's why he shouts, there is no artistic offer, then, they sell musical violence to the equally violent societies or people, the masochists.
R.I.P Joey Jordison 🙏🙏 unbelievable drummer
Yeah, I was very sad. So many of my hero’s are gone😢
:(
Yes. R.I.P. Joey. He was only 5'2-3"...but damn he played the shite out of his kit, as well as being a multi-instrumentalist. Singer too.
All 9 of them were locked in for this DVD performance
NOISES NOISES PEOPLE MAKE NOISES
PEOPLE MAKE NOISES WHEN THEY'RE SICK🗣🔥
Hard to believe, but they come from a state that is almost entirely covered in cornfields. He keeps his voice because he what we call a Cornfed Fred. Us midwesterner are a different breed. ❤
We are very pumped to have that drummer. He's up there with Thor in ability to make thunder.
I recognized this immediately. I had a box set of this concert when i was like 12! I dont think it was this concert but there are a couple where the drum set lifts up tilts 90• and starts spinning all while Joey(RIP) was playing an insane solo!!

This is the best version of this band!
I find this level of angry music is what calms me down from a rage. No need for bats or fists just Slipknot at a high volume and all of the rage is properly channelled. And I am at peace... Great reaction Biss!

Need to do the studio version with lyrics. They are brutal and dark.
You have to watch this full show. It was filmed for DVD "Disasterpieces" also took place in London. The Iowa era was good times.
I was singing this earlier today. Then I find Ms. Biss reaction. Strange 😮

Please react to Disasterpiece Joey Jordison drum cam. Thank you
Eloy does beat the hell out of the drums you’re not wrong Miss Biss 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
You're right with the drumming. Joey was the fastest, Jay was the sloppier (a great drummer though) and Eloy is the punchier and technical.
Corey Taylor did blow his vocal chords out he can't go that hard anymore, he had to have surgery on his voice box, if you look now at him he still has a scar on his neck from the surgery and then he made the Stone Sour song "made of scars"
I'm watching from romania too
A week ago y watched Slipknot with Babymetal (and many other bands)in Santiago de Chile, knotfest 2024

RIP Paul Gray [*] and Joey Jordison [*]
You need to watch more joey jordison drumming and your thoughts may change on eloy "hitting harder"

Yeh, Eloy hits harder than any other drummer in the world.
