I did the same trick with that same yanquina eyeliner and it worked . To get more fluidity , open the back ,take the ink rod out (looks like what sketch pens have) and add a drop of water to the end . Then put the rod in , with the non tampered side first and viola , your pen suddenly flows more ink .
