Well, I enjoyed that tremendously! You did a lot more filming than I thought. Liked the last few days whistle stop too. Though I dont remember the weather being that bad! Thanks guys, memories for a lifetime. What says it all, is Andy, back at home looking pretty buff there!
That was epic Andy. Stunning stunning alps but with a really Scottish weather vibe. Looked really arduous but with lots of stunning distractions. Climbed there 30 years ago ......brought back the memories. Your photos were absolutely stunning, and yet as you know, the camera seldom does the scene real justice no matter the camera or the photographrr so it must have been mind blowing in real time"being there!!!". Tremendous.
Well done great effort. We just finished the TMB yesterday and it is incredibly difficult. The constant long ascents and descents are brutal. We managed to do it in 6 1/2 days with a mixture of camping, hostiles winter rooms in refuggios and even hotels. The climb over the ladders were much longer than we thought abd the final descent in was knee shattering. Some scrambling and pretty technical bits thrown in. Exhausting but wow the scenery, people both locals and those also travelling make it worth every ounce of effort.
Brilliant well done. Yes I agree, I love the random meetings and chat with like minded trekkers. Makes it, that and the views when you get them . ATB A
Such dramatic views. The big international trip: yes you can say we must be stoic, make our own fun, and be adaptable - but wind and rain can just demolish plans. Thx for posting.
Chapeau Mr Park... The last thing you must have expected was weather worse than the homeland... Pretty grim.. but what about those views... A-Mazing. That Swiss campsite similar to you back garden on a tent rain test eh? .. thanks for sharing your trip A.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👌
Hi Jim, at its worst it was worse than Scotland ( but couldn't film for fear of busting my phone ) but when the sun was out some of those views made it all worthwhile. I need to go back and finish some stages in Switzerland if you fancy a long weekend next summer 🌞 ?!
Oreyt, was just watching you review of the x-mid and noticed your Scottish accent I was the Yorkshire lad you was chatting to at camping des glacier in Switzerland. 🇨🇭 hope you’re well
@@AndrewParkOutdoors yeah went through that at the euros. Don’t ever fancy doing that again if I can help it. I had it in my head Geneva would be the best place to fly too. It’s one of them, we think about it for years and then maybe finally get it done
Me, my fiancée and cousin completed the TMB September 17th to 25th. We had some great weather and a couple of rainy days, particularly towards the end. What dates were you there Andrew?
great video and was a pleasure walking with you!
Thanks!
Thanks Ian, your support is much appreciated! Andrew 🙏
Top notch Andy 👏 , and good to see ye back .

Highly enjoyable video. Looked like a great wee holiday. I always mix a bit of touristy stuff with walking a route when I'm in France.
Spectacular! Some effort 🏔️
Great loved it😊
Wow... trip pf a lifetime....stunning scenery

Ha small world. How did the rest of your trek go ? 😁
@@AndrewParkOutdoors sorry just seen this, yeah was great, wet and wild at points but well worth it was that pint in Chamonix 🍻
Still an epic trip despite the weather. How did you find getting transport to the start? Seen you had to go to Frankfurt first. Atvb Robert
Yes easyJet cancelled my direct flight and I had to book alternatives. Frankfurt is a huge mare of an airport to transfer in...never again 🤣

We were out there the 3rd - 12th, it was really wet for a lot of it 😂
