So far, the nicer let's play...let's get started with....Video ^^ Got the game yesterday, to test. And I am unsure if I can get the hang of it... I'm 45 minutes in, and I want to better test it, before I would hit the traditional 2 hours mark.... So the idea is to get a little input from a let's play and see what else I can manage in the game and then decide to keep or not ^^ It's sad that you can't access the demo anymore (at least my steam page can't)
I love this game. There were only two things I wished they would add or fix. The combat system is rough and I wish there was a basic character development system like the more you do a task like starting a fire, chopping wood or mining ores you would slowly get better at that task improving your work speed and efficiency.
Getting some serious unreal world vibes! A game I'd love to play but can't stand haha! the fact there's coop makes me think I might play this one though with my friend who got me into unreal world.
When you said in the beginning how you were wishing for third person before they added it I was immediately worried, and I must say the third person looks so much better. I'm not sure why it feels so wrong with the standard camera when it's so similar to zomboid. I like that you're navigating manually, and settled in a strategically advantageous position. I'm curious to see what this game becomes in a few years time. Will it meet the sad fate of many indie survival games and quickly die? Or will it blossom into an incredible masterpiece that keeps people playing for a decade and more?
I notice you always say it when you're doing a tutorial series, that you point out upcoming spoilers. I get that, but the reason I'm pointing this out is because of this question that comes to mind; Would a player who doesn't want to get spoilers *really* watch a tutorial series *before* they start playing? Or to ask the opposite; would a player who *is* searching for pre-playing knowledge mind the spoilers? Again, I get that you want to be kind to the people watching your content, but to me it's weird to think about the situation that might happen if you don't, which in my head is like: Rhadamant: *starts tutorial series of a new game, but doesn't warn for upcoming spoiler in that moment* Player: "You didn't warn for this spoiler! Now I do know without experiencing the wrong way first! Wheeeee!" *imagne tears* Really, if someone is like that, assuming that that is another reason for spoiler warnings; they didn't think about the upcoming spoilers when you *clearly* state that it's a tutorial series in the title, announcements, schedule, ánd during the beginning of every recording. And sometimes you mention it due to it being the reason for a IG choice you make. They didn't think; not your problem to solve. But yeah, that was my "Wheee" about you doing spoiler alerts xD ;P
I'd say the time this game takes in is the Age of Exploration. Reason being, there are no indigenous coyotes in Europe where the middle ages were the latest phenomenon in the Old World minus Sub-Saharan Africa. Indian subcontient having their middle age back in republican Roman days and Chinese allegedly having theirs around the time of Mycenean culture in European terms. Any game featuring pumpkins, corn and potatoes similarly is set after the Age of Exploration kicks in gear.
@35:00 that boar is not aggressive…. 30 seconds later … that boar is passive aggressive!
Haha yup
Thanks for the play through and the small face cam. It’s nice that we can see you and yoda with the screen completely visible
Any time Mattpants, I try not to take up too much space so the beautiful game can be shown in earnest =]

Ah yeah demos usually disappear around the big launch but I hope you got the hang of the game prior to the 2h mark!
Great video, very informative gameplay
Any time dude! Pretty much all my content is about this well researched =]

Combat is indeed rough I agree
Seems interestimg will definintely follow along for more👍

Literally 5 min in I was thinking the Bloom was awful. Glad you turned it down.

Time will tell if it stands apart from the saturated market!
New energy drink in market - Lake-o-rade
lol
Welp time to go buy this one.

You should eat all the mushrooms that you find, I'm sure that a great idea
That'll get you killed REAL QUICK
@@Rhadamant that's how u unlock the special ending
Would you be willing to do another kenshi playthrough? Skeletons only? Would love to watch somethinglike that or anything kenshi related
I am willing, its on my list of things to do, I do not have time for it right now
Looks like he is spanking the tree hahaha
He is, giving it the ol' axe.
First 👍
Yes you are!
This game looks chill, are there enemy factions aside from animals?
No. Currently no human npcs aside from a guy from the plotline.
No, but there's a lot on the roadmap
still haven't finished watching vintage story got to about 40
Aye this is similar =]

Sometimes I'll reveal game mechanics that are only a little further into the game, but any time I do a deeper reveal I do give warnings
How can we cut the tree faster???
You cant?
Does co-op work for the game?
There *IS* coop but I've never tried it

Your guess is as good as mine!
@@Rhadamant Well then, at least Your guesses are on aggregate better than mine barring these occasional anomalies in my form.
