If you look at this act,its very nice... You have moments where the rings are examined which is very important. You use smoke which is a very rare thing in the real world. Really nice. Your million dollar card production was really good and very hard to do. Good luck you will be huge!
i love watching magicians perform sleight of hands as he did in the beginning because i find solace in watching the object travel from place to place. i would say more but i don't want to spoil how he does the ring skit... quite obvious if you don't fall for the very lacking misdirection
Essentially universal. Story deck tricks were first used as religious stories. The story I use (Monty The Spiv) was created by the late Harry Stanley (I think he died in 1968?) and Fred Lowe. In America "Sam The Bellhop" performed by Bill Malone is the best known.
hey ive been doing magic off and on for a couple months im just doing card tricks right now and im not a master but my idols are people like david blaine and ricky jay but id love to get to lennart green levels... i only say that because his routine is extremely amazing. im interested in anything that could help me or how could i join the young magicians club? i am 18 and id love to entertain...
Maybe I'm making an assumption based solely on the fact that he won and award that you and I haven't won, but the judges didn't seem to think he underused anything. Using something like the Smoke devices repeatedly through the act would only kill the power it has.
Well done Matthew, good work and well deserved. However I make it a custom of mine to always find atleast one flaw, and so here I'll say that your use of the "smoke" was very underused I think. But beyond that I have no critisms, the ring routine was wonderful aswell as baffling and the card work was handled masterfully. Tom xx
Hi Matthew It's eddy I'm really really frustrated I have some ESP cards I have looked everywhere no instructions I've looked on internet please send me a private message if u could help thanks see u soon
I love close up magic! It's amazing!
Congratulations, that was fun! Love the storytelling, makes it feel like a journey.
very very well done...one of the best close up routines I've ever seen...I wish i could do that:D
Fantastic back and front palms.

@MrSeantheunicorn I used ultrasmoke 2000. Puresmoke wasn't out in 2010 afaik.
I generally just use smoke once in a routine.
Hey Matthew, I really enjoy your routine. Good job, man!
Mesmerizing, utterly wonderful
Amazing
absolutely smooth and amazing no doubt

Superbly done, met Matthew in Blackpool, he is a really nice guy
Hi Eddy,
There are lots of effects that use ESP cards.
You'll have to let me know exactly what you have with the trick

this is wae better than all 3 of my ring tricks combined lol
Loved the finisher! :D:D:D:D
A very fun presentation of Monty the Spiv. And the rings at the start are a fun opener.
Man, even with freeze frame I can't figure a lot of it out.
where can I learn that linking ring trick thanks
Matt, beautifully performed, loved the card appearances, but i think you underused smoke, also did you use pure, or ultra 2000??

That was very, very impressive. Thought you were just ripping off Sam the Bellhop at first, but you added some terrific twists.
That ace came from nowhere. Wow
O.o Makes my tricks look like someone playing 52 card pickup
thanks tips, can we see your videos?
can you gays tell me the name of the last trick he did that he keeps pulling cards from hes hand
I'm absolutely gob-smacked! :D
haha that acceptance was very roboty

A few mistakes but really enjoyable and great skill none the less :)
annoying voice but nice performance really enjoyed it
You have got to be a fan of Michael Vincent or vice versa, you both say a lot of the same phrases
Pfft It's easy when YOU ARE A FKING WIZARD.
Pretty run of the mill staged tricks until the last card manipulating - that was very slickly done.
A lot of stuff in those sleeves.
