I had the privilege of being last week, on that night, at that concert at indierocks in Mexico City and it was amazing and magical! Here in Mexico we love the Villareal sisters, they are powerful and they are the new standard of Mexican rock in the world. Now in February we will be with them sharing beautiful music and the power of rock. everyone rocking, we are going to destroy the national auditorium all together more than 30 thousand people along with them
Not too many things bring me more joy than watching Dany whip that beautiful hair around. The fact that she obviously loves doing it makes it even better.
Thanks for your reaction to a video that captured the excitement of the moment. I think that the guys from DPS just didn't anticipate how much the arrival of Dany and Pau on stage would supercharge the atmosphere of the room, or how energetic the ladies would be without their respective instruments. As soon as the crowd spotted two women being led through the balcony crowd by a torch-bearing security guy (one of the women had very recognisable blonde hair!), the screams began. Pau and Danny each knew when the other was going to sing the next bit, and Jack (DPS singer) knew when to step back and let them go for it. It was a bit of magic for the fans.
I literally teared up when some in the crowd noticed and absolutely lost their frickin' minds when Dany and Pau were walking on the balcony toward the stairs landing. They're physically tiny little things, but their presence and aura is larger-than-life! Incredible!
Great reaction! Me gusta esta canción, pero cuando participa DPA, ya sea en la grabación o el escenario, tiene un extra importante. Es lindo ver a Dany y Pauli cantar y pasarla bien sin sus instrumentos. Thanks Glenn and Adrian!
Dany & Pau walk / Run on stage and the crowd goes off 10 fold excitement. Thanks Glenn and Adrian you guys do great reactions with class .
When I see the "white light" encore, I cannot imagine Ale taking part in the mayhem and feel comfortable. But if she could play bass on that stage, it would be a different story.
"Hurt" was released as a single in late 2023, prior to the album release. Anton DeLost played the studio mix for TW when he was working with them in the studio.
Of course, they're not busy touring, but they're definitely busy with other band business at home; especially rehearsing and gearing up for the three February, Mexico City shows. This appearance was likely a very welcome opportunity to let loose, have fun and blow off some steam.
I'm sure there will be older material. They've said they'll play all of "Keep Me Fed" but that leaves a lot of room in the setlist given that Teatro Metropolitan was 22 songs and Pepsi Center was 23 songs. I'm really hoping for "Revenant" among others.
Agreed. I could be misremembering, this was something I thought I heard Rudy say during a recent audio only patreon live, but I can't find it anymore to review.
@@paulrowe006 I'm hoping for some QotMS stuff in Monterrey. I got to see the D2D/Dull Knives combo in the UK, but would love to see Red Hands or Hunter (especially if we could get an Ale vocal 🤞🏻)
Thanks, guys, for reacting to this presentation. It wasn't the video I recommended (I'm not too fond of this one because, although the mix of images is appreciated, the important thing for me is the girls and the presentation, which is why I advised the other one with a single take). But what's really important is that you noticed the impact these girls are already making. Undoubtedly, this was planned from the moment the song was recorded. The strength the girls bring to it is phenomenal, and I think the version with them will skyrocket. In fact, in an interview, Paulina mentioned that in Mexico City, they are already fully recognized and can't walk down the street easily anymore. You can tell, right? The love from the army for them. Best regards!
Pau and Dany both unleashed at the same time is a rare treat…as in the first time ever! Am I in too deep that I noticed Dany is wearing the long sleeve striped shirt from the OMV of Six Feet Deep?
I agree with Adrian, Hurt with The Warning is THE official version of the song now. I'm going to the last show of their Mexico tour in Monterrey. I'm hoping for some fun extras at the concert since it's their hometown.
Someone posted footage of TW arriving at the back door of the Venue. No Ale, but I recognized Dad, Rudy and Ivan ( their Videographer aka Skinny Camera Boy).
@@MTH58 I was wondering about that, so they arrived early to do a sound check with the band? I thought they showed up just in time to go up there and sing the song.
Normally, yes! If at all possible, they will soundcheck together ahead of time. Especially with two guest vocalists at once, they would want to do that.
someone said that they were both at Berkley at the same time... I feel like you guys would be perfect to confirm that with your incredible knowledge and investigative abilities! Love following you on your in-depth Warning journey!
I know the band met each other in 2013 at Berklee, and it's likely at least one of them was still attending by the summer of 2015, but I have no confirmation on whether that is the case or not - that's the best I can do right now!
The DPS guys are on average 10 years older than Dany, Pau and Ale. Besides the girls attended a five-week summer program while the guys from DPS were attending college. So my guess is that they didn't meet each other back then.
The first video I saw of this, had some girls hysterically screaming, in a good way, as fans, when they first saw Danny and along the performance. It just made me think, if this keeps going this way, soon we're gonna have a Warningmania 😃
It’s a great collaboration and a DPS song that stands on its own but this mix featuring TW was a great decision. It is just an adrenaline rush on steroids and this performance just shows what great musicians they all are.
Yea, like Elgon said Anton produced that DPS album around the time he started working with TW during making KMF. Pau loved it (it’s not even her favorite of the album) & of course shared video of her rocking to it on her birthday on Shiprocked. DPS A&R person suggested they invite TW to join them for a song at the festival so they messaged….ALE😂. Thankfully she noticed it & shared it with some who might actually want to😉 & 400K more monthly Spotify listeners later (for both bands) it seems to have worked out well🤘
Hurt is a great song without The Warning!, DPS lead singer Mark Jack Underkofler has a phenomenal voice, their record _Fission_ is a strong record!. DPS have toured Mexico seven times and have built a following there, so yes this was an amazing event.
Sorry, but not even Dany and Pau can save this song. I didn't like it when I first heard it from, I believe, Aftershock with just Pau and my opinion hasn't changed. Although I do think it is better than the collab with Bandmaid, the more I heard THAT, the more I didn't want to listen to it. I am just not gonna automatically like something because it features The Warning in some way. I'm in the minority, I know and I'm fine with that.
That sounds reasonable to me, David. It would take something away from the enjoyment of the music to feel obligated. These are side projects anyway, and we always support the band but I don't think we've ever heard a side project we liked as much as the band's own music.
We just witnessed history!!! First time EVER Dany and Pau sang as front women without their instruments as strictly vocalists in a Live show!!!
2nd time? 3rd time?
@@ez68eldo where was the first time?

You are so lucky! I envy you. Enjoy the show!
Thanks Glenn and Adrian. Come to México!! You are welcome!!!
You witnessed a historical event that night.
If Ale can't play her base she is happy not being on stage. Trust me, she was smiling as she cheered her sisters on.
The Warning have 886k subscribers on TH-cam and DPS have 60k. Going to boost them for sure.
Pretty sure Dany and Pau made everyone's night. Dany is a born headbanger!
The crowd was singing along, so I think there were a lot of DPS fans as well - and likely fans of both bands.
Not too many things bring me more joy than watching Dany whip that beautiful hair around. The fact that she obviously loves doing it makes it even better.
Yeah, she was doing the full body Joplin shake. 🤟
Ok. So now Dany is my official fav cause she’s a HEAD BANGER!! 🔥🔥🤘🏽🤘🏽
The way they immediately raise the audience and the song to another level.
Goddamn ROCKSTARS!
Thanks for your reaction to a video that captured the excitement of the moment.

veni vidi vici (et reliqui…)
I came, I saw, I conquered (and I left)
The Warning are stage monsters
Great choice on the multi-cam version. That TH-camr took the first three fancams to be posted, and did a fantastic job editing them together.

🎉Yes now that DPS and TW have done 4 different versions of this and having the same producer a collab with both bands wouldn't surprise me.
You are not going to find Ale doing public dancing and craziness, I guarantee it!!!😊🎶⚡️

im sure they bring the Piano back so Black holes perhaps make a return. not sure we get breathe again tho
Show Me The Light please ....))))
Ale was at home splitting apples with her bare hands. 😊

@elgonwilliams7624 I meant I'm going to see The Warning in Monterrey...I hope Ale will be there 😆
Ale doesn't really dance, she prowls. ⚡That stage was crowded, she needs room to Roam.🤘
Reminds me of the way Johnny Cash took NiN's 'Dirt" and made it his own. In this case though in collaboration with the original artists.

I've never listened to their music before but I listened to an earlier DPS album that Ashlena was reacting to. I agree with you.

Very charitable of D & P.
I have watched several reactors when they first discovered the warning
Can you show the first video when you heard about the warning🤘⚡
Sure, it was our reaction to Enter Sandman at Teatro Metropolitan 2022 :) th-cam.com/video/S6H6lLd9DPc/w-d-xo.html
@glennandadriansrocktalk Thanks, brings back memories 🤘⚡
How many cdmx dps concert goers were there for the chance of seeing the warning?
How many were there?
Quite a bit I’d imagine since they had to upgrade venues after teasing their appearance.
Dani and Pau tow front women on that stage killing it!!🔥🔥
*two*
I think Dead Poet's Society were expecting The Wawas and were surprised that The Warning showed up!
It’s a great collaboration and a DPS song that stands on its own but this mix featuring TW was a great decision. It is just an adrenaline rush on steroids and this performance just shows what great musicians they all are.

The split vid with the different angles , terrible ,, should of went with the straight single vid pointing at the stage , way better , less is more
