Thank you for posting this clear walk-through. I'm very much enjoying the warm, dry heat provided by the gasoline Espar B2 installed in my 5Mars Illsusion RV. It enables me to winter camp in Northern Ontario, Canada.
Hello, i own a 37 ft 5th wheel coach.I want to have one of these units installed in the RV.I use the furnace and a few space heaters. When i go away from the coach i would prefer to have this as apposed to quarts and ceramics (much safer).i want to be able to start it from out of town with the app . Is that possible? Also will i need the 5.5 watt heater to heat my 37 foor coach in say minus 10-15 degrees. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Is there a maximum altitude that the heater will work at? I have one installed in a motor home and plan to cross the Aguas Negras pass between Chile and Argentina. It peaks at around 5 000m.
I can’t get our D2 to come out of the 4 minute lock out cycle. It just runs on and on.. I have to unplug the power and leave it for days. Is there any other way to reset it?
Apologies for the tardy response and I'm sorry about your issue. You can contact Technical Support at 1-800-387-4800 X2299 and/or help@eberspaecher.com.
Hello, i am having an issue with an eberspächer airtonic, it starts perfectly, but it turns off always after 10 minutes, after the start and a cool down cicle. Could it be because of a broken temperature sensor?
We installed the Espar Airtronic d2 12v diesel heater in our converted sprinter van. We've spent the past 2 days doing nothing but trying to get this thing to work. The unit will not connect to the EasyStart + remote controller. We keep getting error codes like "INIT" and "No Signal". HeatSo is the company we bought it from but their customer service won't respond to my multiple calls or emails. We've combed through the instruction manuals and have quadruple-checked to make sure all the connections are correct. We are at a complete loss. Has anyone else run into this problem and have any advice on how we can fix it? We are currently in Ohio and the only way we can heat our van is if we use the van's heaters with the engine running. We were hoping that the Espar heater would be the solution, like so many other van-dwellers out there, but we've had it installed since yesterday morning and have spent the past 2 days trying to figure out why the remote won't work with the unit. Any help would be SO appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Are you sure about the gasoline ? in the UK gasoline is petrol , is that not dangerous to use in these heaters , I mean petrol has a low flash point and a lot more prone to flammable fumes on the interior of a vehicle . thanks
Hi UTD2, we have gasoline versions of our most popular models both on the Air side and Coolant side. The burning of gasoline or diesel fuels happen in a controlled environment. The gasoline and diesel heaters are not the same , you have to either purchase one of the other, there are different pars/components internally, like; fuel metering pump, controller, c chamber.
My espar d2 heater doesn't come on.. the fan don't spin and i don't hear the fuel pump clicking.. I change the control switch and tested the heater blower to a battery and it came on. I'm lost
@@CashNYC I took out the glow plug and cleaned it, put in a new filter and now It won’t start up . I have power from the batteries to the unit and off on switch. Must be a fault code that I need to clear. Mine is a unit Fromm 2007 and I can’t clear any codes without the external retrieval device
@@mikezweber6324 just keep trying to start it it does that sometimes after u clean it it acts like it don't wanna start but eventually it will. Did u replace the filter by the fuel pump?

Pedro Adrover I am having the same issue, I saw it gets over heated and turns itself off because I had items placed on top off it. Regrettably mistake
The most common issue is blocked air flow. It usually happens by placing items on the air intake, outtake or a deforming air hose.

only if gasoline specific unit. a diesel unit cannot run on gas and vise versa
